Hello, fellow food lovers!

Last weekend I went to try some Mexican cuisine. It was my first time at a restaurant offering this type of food. We arrived without any recommendations from friends. I had seen some of their tacos and burritos on Instagram, which looked quite tempting, so I decided to check it out.

The restaurant is called Rechanfles and is located on Fuerzas Armadas Avenue in the city of Maracaibo. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and comfortable facilities with tables and chairs arranged for diners. They also offer Italian food. When I arrived, they sent me their extensive menu via WhatsApp. Among the options were appetizers such as flautas, chimichangas, and chili con carne, as well as more complete meals such as classic chicken, beef, and pork rind tacos, special tacos, burritos, Birria soup, quesadillas, some drinks, and desserts.

As it was our first time there, we asked the waitress for a recommendation. She suggested classic tacos and cheese tacos. We chose a variety of chicken, beef, and pork rind tacos, and for the cheese tacos, we selected Birria beef and a broth of the same name, along with a flavored drink.

Our order arrived quickly, with two servings of four tacos on each tray. One tray had tacos with a variety of proteins, pico de gallo, and lemon on the side, while the other tray had special tacos with meat, cheese, cilantro, and onion. They brought us a little spice to try them as they should be eaten.

The moment to try them arrived, and I was full of expectations. The first one was ground beef, which was quite delicious, and the taco was very crispy. The chicken one had a harmony of flavors, and then there was the pork rind one, which had a soft texture, melted in my mouth, and had an amazing flavor. It surpassed the chicken and beef ones and was my favorite. Finally, I tried the birria meat taco. Its flavor was identical to the pork my dad prepares during the holiday season. The cheese was melted and divine, but the pork rind tacos were unbeatable, I tried the spicy version just once, and it was too strong for my taste, and the birria broth didn't have the flavor I was expecting.

I want to go back to try the burritos and quesadillas. This experience was excellent, and the tacos were delicious. The service was also good. I give this restaurant 4.5 stars.

¡Hola amigos amantes de la buena comida!

El fin de semana pasado fui a probar parte de la gastronomía Mexicana, era mi primera vez en una restaurante en que ofrecieran un menú con este tipo de comida, llegamos sin ninguna recomendación por parte de algún conocido, yo había visto parte de sus tacos y burritos en instagram que por cierto se veían bastante provocativos y por eso me acerqué hasta el lugar.

El restaurante se llama Rechanfles y se encuentra en la av. Fuerzas Armadas en la ciudad de Maracaibo, su ambiente es bastante acogedor, sus instalaciones son cómodas con mesas y sillas dispuestas para los comensales, también ofrecen comida Italiana, al llegar me facilitaron su amplio menú vía WhatsApp, entre las opciones se destacaba entradas como las flautas, chimichangas y chili con carne, también otras comidas más completas los tacos clásico de pollo, carne y chicharrón, los tacos especiales, burritos, sopa de Birria, quesadillas, algunas bebidas y postres.

Como era nuestra primera vez, buscamos una recomendación por parte de la mesonera, ella nos recomendó tacos clásicos y unos cheese tacos, elegimos que los tacos fuera variados de pollo, carne y chicharrón y los de queso los seleccionamos con carne de Birria y un caldo con el mismo nombre, además una bebida de sabor.

Nuestro pedido llegó rápido, venían dos servicios de 4 tacos en cada bandeja, en una los tacos de proteína variada que llevaban pico de gallo y traían limón para acompañar, los tacos especiales venían en otra con la carne, queso, cilantro y cebolla, nos trajeron un poco de picante para probarlos como se debe.

Llegó el momento de probar yo me encontraba llena de muchas expectativas, el primero fue el de carne molida, estaba bastante delicioso y el taco bien crujiente, el de pollo tenía armonía en su sabores y luego el de chicharrón, la textura de este último era suave, se deshacía en mi boca y su sabor era delirante, superó al del pollo y al de carne fue mi favorito, por último probé el de carne de birria, su sabor se me hizó idéntico al del pernil que prepara mi papá en la época decembrina, el queso estaba derretido y estuvo divino, pero los tacos de chicharrón fueron insuperables, probé el picante solo una vez y estaba muy fuerte para mi gusto y el caldo de birria no tenía el sabor que esperaba.

Quiero volver para probar los burritos y quesadillas, esta experiencia fue excelente y los tacos riquísimos, además con buen atención, a este restaurante le doy un 4,5 estrellas.
