Hello travelers! My trip to Falcón State is coming to an end, and today I want to take you to the last tourist site I visited. It's worth noting that during the month of August, I was also able to enjoy a beautiful sunset at Médanos de Coro National Park. This time, I was able to visit this incredible natural beauty earlier during a quiet Sunday afternoon in October.ENGLISH VERSION (click here!)
I didn't know that the park had a main entrance with a beautiful facade that welcomes us. Once inside, there is a whole promenade called Monseñor Iturriza. Along this path, we find playgrounds, small stages, murals full of color and joy, as well as a square with a monument inside a fountain dedicated to mothers, selfless beings full of light.
Before heading to the dunes, we walked around the area a bit. The green areas were perfectly maintained, and the animals roamed freely, as evidenced by some goats running around. I also saw a hut belonging to INPARQUES, the organization responsible for caring for natural spaces with vegetation, flora, and fauna within our country. We also had a cocada (coconut frappe) to stay hydrated during our walk.
Once we entered the Coro Dunes, we were surrounded by a little vegetation and mountains of sand, which, incidentally, was not a vibrant yellow color, but brown, because it had rained at midday and this dulled its color a little. The sky was still cloudy, there was a lot of humidity, and therefore it was hotter.
We spent about an hour walking among the dunes, without straying too far because we didn't want to lose the tracks we had left behind to find our way back. In this area of the park, the sand dunes are not very high, but I still found them enchanting. Incidentally, there were some insects walking on the surface, which I really liked.
On the way back, a group of young people were playing baseball. I think it's an excellent place to practice the sport because it's quite spacious. I feel like you could also improvise a soccer field there.
We left a message written in the sand that was blown away by the wind but remains stored in our cameras as a souvenir, reminding us once again that our country is magical and that we can enjoy different types of breathtaking landscapes.

Mi viaje al estado Falcón esta por terminar y hoy quiero llevarlos al último sitio turístico que visité, cabe destacar que también durante el mes de agosto pude disfrutar de un hermoso atardecer en el Parque Nacional Médanos de Coro, en ésta oportunidad pude visitar ésta increíble belleza natural más temprano durante una tranquila tarde de domingo en el mes de octubre.
Yo no sabía que el parque tenía una entrada principal, con una fachada bien linda que nos da la bienvenida, una vez dentro, hay todo un paseo llamado Monseñor Iturriza, en este camino, nos encontramos con parques infantiles, pequeños escenarios, murales llenos de color y alegría, además de una plaza con un monumento dentro de una fuente dedicada a las Madres, seres abnegados y llenas de luz.
Antes de pasar al área de los médanos, caminamos un poco por los alrededores, las áreas verdes estaban perfectamente cuidadas, los animales se encuentran libres y la prueba de ellos son algunos chivos que se encontraban corriendo por allí, también pude observar una cabaña de INPARQUES, son aquellos encargados de cuidar los espacios naturales, que poseen vegetación, flora y fauna que se encuentran dentro de nuestro país, también tomamos una cocada (frappe de coco) para mantenernos hidratados durante nuestra caminata.
Una vez que ingresamos a los Médanos de Coro, estamos rodeados de un poco de vegetación y montañas de arena, que por cierto este elemento no estaba de color amarillo vibrante, sino marrón, porque había llovido durante el mediodía y esto opacó un poco su color, el cielo seguía nublado, había mucha humedad y por lo tanto más calor.
Estuvimos aproximadamente una hora caminando dentro de los médanos, sin alejarnos mucho porque no queríamos perder las huellas que habíamos dejado para regresar, en esta zona del parque las acumulaciones de arena no son tan elevadas, pero para mi seguían siendo encantadoras, por cierto algunos insectos se encontraban caminando sobre la superficie y eso me gustó bastante.
De regreso, un grupo de jóvenes estaban haciendo una caimanera de béisbol, me parece un excelente lugar para practicar un poco dicho deporte, porque es bastante amplio, siento que también se puede improvisar una cancha de futbol.
Dejamos un escrito en la arena que el viento se llevo pero que sigue guardada en nuestras cámaras, para el recuerdo, haciéndonos saber una vez más que nuestro país es mágico y que podemos disfrutar de distintos tipos de paisajes que nos roban el aliento.
