Ingredients

🧈 1 block of Lurpak Butter, 100g
🍝 ½ bag of Sipa Vermicelli, 250g
🌿 Al Ameer Cardamom Powder, a pinch to ½ teaspoon
💧 Water, sufficient to cover vermicelli
🍚 3 to 4 tablespoons of granulated white sugar
🥚 3 white shell eggs
🧂 A pinch of salt
🌶️ A pinch of Al Ameer Black Pepper Powder
🌹 1 to 2 teaspoons of Rose Water


Instructions

1- Toast the Vermicelli:

  • Melt 1 piece of Lurpak butter in a large stainless steel pot over medium heat.
  • Add the Sipa vermicelli and stir continuously. Toast the vermicelli until it turns a golden brown, approximately 5 minutes.

2- Flavor the Vermicelli:

  • Sprinkle a pinch of Al Ameer cardamom powder over the toasted vermicelli.
  • Add sufficient water to cover the vermicelli, then bring it to a boil.
  • Once boiling, reduce the heat, cooking until the water is mostly absorbed and the vermicelli is tender.

3- Steam for Perfection:

  • Transfer the cooked vermicelli to a stainless steel colander, draining any remaining water.
  • Return the vermicelli to the pot, sprinkle with sugar, and drizzle rose water over it.
  • Cover with a lid and let it steam for 5-10 minutes on low heat to meld the flavors.

4- Prepare the Egg Omelette:

  • In a glass mixing bowl, crack 3 eggs. Add a pinch of salt and Al Ameer black pepper powder.
  • Whisk until the eggs are well combined.
  • Melt 2 pieces of Lurpak butter in a small non-stick frying pan.
  • Pour the whisked eggs into the pan, cooking until set and lightly browned on the edges.

5- Assemble the Dish:

  • Transfer the egg omelet onto a white oval serving plate.
  • Carefully place the steamed vermicelli on top of the omelet.
  • Serve immediately for a delightful and flavorful breakfast experience.
