Trying to make a simple dish for a family lunch, of course, with a simple, delicious home-style feel. A dish with spectacular flavor makes everything so delicious.



Preparing different meals every day can sometimes leave us confused in the kitchen. Often, whatever ingredients are on hand become the ones we choose to use. To make sure everyone at home enjoys the dishes we prepare, we have to consider what they like. That's the duty of a housewife, isn't it? Hehe.

Well, this time I'm going to show you how to make a simple sambal goreng dish that I've prepared with quail eggs and anchovies. This type of anchovy is really delicious prepared this way, so this lunch will be very hearty with an authentic flavor.




Ingredients Needed

1 block of tempeh
8 quail eggs
50 grams of teri medan
3 lemongrass leaves
1 tablespoon of palm sugar
¼ onion
10 red chili peppers
1 tomato
4 shallots
1 piece of shrimp paste




Instructions


Step 1


Prepare all the ingredients, then cut the tempeh into small pieces and season with salt.

Step 2


Then, fry the tempeh until golden brown. While the tempeh is cooking, blend the tomatoes, chili, and shallots.

Step 3


Fry the quail eggs until golden brown, and also fry the teri medan and fry tempeh. until cooked and crispy.

Step 4


Sautéed shallots and lime leaves, Once everything is finished sautéing, add the shallots and the ground spices. Don't forget to add the torn bay leaves. Season with salt to taste and a little granulated sugar, adjusting to your preference.

Step 5


Add a little water, then add the shrimp paste that has been diluted with a little water.

Step 6


When the sauce has thickened, add all the fried ingredients to the sambal and stir until everything is evenly coated.

Ta-da... look at this, everything looks so beautiful, doesn't it? The appearance alone is already very tempting. As for the taste, it's incredibly delicious—spicy and savory with a distinctive blend of anchovies and shrimp paste, and the aroma of shrimp paste makes it even more delicious.
