I am also foodie,so i like to cook and eat new disses all the time.Bengali favourite fish is hilsha fish.Every Bengali like to eat different different methods cook this hilsha fish..i am the one off..i like very much hilsha fish.
So Today I suddenly thought I will share a Brand new recipe with you..Today my recipe is Delicious Bengali Hilsa fish paturi in gourd leaves..Hilsha fish paturi is one of the popular recipe in Bengalis.This recipe is very Delicious..
So lets share the recipe of Hilsha fish paturi in gourd leaves..
Hilsha Fish Paturi Cooking Materials,,,,
Hilsa fish: 1 (7 pieces),
Gourd leaves: 7 pieces,
Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon,
Turmeric powder: 1 teaspoon,
Coriander powder: 1/2 teaspoon,
Salt: To taste,
Onion paste: 1/2 tablespoon,
Garlic paste: 1 teaspoon,
Ginger paste: 1 teaspoon,
Sour yogurt: 1 Tablespoon,
Mustard paste: 2 Tablespoon,
Here I have taken all the ingredients:

Cooking Method:
Step-1:
First here I have taken 7 pieces of hilsa fish. I have cleaned and washed these fish pieces well.
STEP-2
Now I will rub all the ingredients with this fish well with the help of hand.
After brushing, I will leave these fish to rest for 20 minutes.
STEP-3
Let the fish rest and I will prepare the gourd leaves..
Here I have taken 7 pieces of gourd leaves. I have washed these leaves thoroughly with normal water..
Now take 1 leaf from the leaf and on this leaf I will place 1 piece of marinated hilsa fish in the middle of the leaf.
Now I will fold gourd leaves like this as shown in the picture.After the folding was done Now I will twist the leaves like this with the help of yarn..
In the same way, I will wrap all the pieces of fish in this gourd leaf.
STEP:4
Now I will fry the hilsa fish wrapped in gourd leaves in oil on medium to low heat.
These fishes cannot be fried in high heat because if the heat of the stove is high, there is a possibility of burning these leaves. Therefore, the heat of the stove should be kept between medium to low heat. And these fishes should be covered with a lid to cook them well.
STEP:5
Now cover with a lid and cook these fish for 15 minutes.
10 minutes I will flip these fish.
When both sides are done well, now delicious hilsa fish paturi will be ready for serving.
Now serve this delicious hilsa fish paturi with hot steamed rice..
