Greetings to everyone in this great community, lovers of foodie I welcome everyone to my blog this beautiful afternoon

Today a neighbour of my who travels to the village just came back with some pieces of three leaved yam and gifted me with some. So when my children saw it they were suprise because they have not seen it before and they were asking many questions to me how to cook and eat it. So I decided to prepare it for them in a local how my mummy used to prepare it for us when we are still younger.
INGREDIENTS USED
One plate of some pieces of fresh pepper
Half cup of red oil
Three tablespoons of NGO
Some pieces of scent leaves
One bulb of onion
Three leaved yam (trifoliate yam)
Five tablespoons of oil bean (Ugba)
1/2 teaspoon of salt for taste
Water for cooking

PROCEDURE
In this procedure I will show you guys how I made this recipe

Firstly I wash my three leaved yam (trifoliate yam) put into my pot add some water and cook for some minutes

Then when my food is still on fire I start to prepare my ingredients by washing and cutting them then bring my mortar add my fresh pepper pound, after pounding it I add my scent leaves into the same mortar and pound both together

Then after that I check my three leaved yam (trifoliate yam) and it has been cooked very well so I bring it down and peel then set aside

In my mortar I add my red oil and NGO then mix until everything comes together

After that I add my chopped onions, salt for taste and add my oil bean (Ugba) mix them up together

Then after that I add my three leaved yam (trifoliate yam) into the mortar mix very well

Here is the face of my local dish very nice and delicious š

My children were very happy because it was there first time of eating this kind of recipe
