Ingredients
🥛 1 liter milk
💧 1/2 cup water
🌿 10 pieces of green cardamom pods
🌱 1/2 teaspoon crushed ginger
🌿 1 piece cinnamon stick
🌿 1 whole clove
🍂 3 1/2 teaspoons black tea powder
🥄 5 tablespoons condensed milk
Instructions
1- Mix Milk and Water:
- Pour 1 liter of milk and 1/2 cup of water into a stainless steel pot.
2- Add Spices:
- Add 10 cardamom pods, 1 cinnamon stick, 1 whole clove, and 1/2 teaspoon of crushed ginger to the pot.
3- Stir Ingredients:
- Use a stainless steel ladle to stir the mixture, combining the milk and spices thoroughly.
4- Add Tea Powder:
- Add 3 1/2 teaspoons of black tea powder to the milk.
- Stir the mixture, gently lifting and pouring with the ladle to mix and start frothing.
5- Boil the Mixture:
- Bring the mixture to a boil.
6- Sweeten the Tea:
- Once boiling, add 5 tablespoons of condensed milk to sweeten and enrich the tea.
7- Froth and Infuse:
- Continue to stir, using the frothing technique: lift the tea with the ladle and pour it back into the pot repeatedly for about 10 minutes on a low flame.
- This helps create a frothy texture and allows full infusion of flavors.
8- Strain and Serve:
- After boiling and frothing, strain the tea into serving mugs or traditional tea glasses.
9- Presentation:
- Serve hot, arranged on a round black serving tray.
