When combined with nutritious sarana leaves rich in vitamins and minerals, this curry becomes not only delicious but also highly nutritious. The slightly bitter taste of the sarana leaves, which contain seeds, blends perfectly with the mild flavor of lentils to create a wholesome and healthy meal suitable for any time of the day. This curry is simple to prepare, nutritious, and an excellent way to add more greens and plant-based protein to your meals.

Materials Used.

Washed Dhal 100g.
Washed and clean Sarana Leaves 250g.
Coconut milk 400ml.
Salt as needed.
1/2 Teaspoon of turmeric powder.
1 Teaspoon of curry powder
1/2 Teaspoon of Mustard powder.
Pandan Leaves
3 green chilies, chopped.
cinnamon sticks, 2 pieces.
A finely chopped onion.
1 Teaspoon of Fenugreek seed.

The cooking process as follows.

First, wash the Sarana leaves thoroughly and tear them into small pieces.

Next, take a cooking pot and add the washed dhal into it. To that, add curry leaves, a piece of cinnamon, salt, garlic, green chilies, turmeric powder, curry powder, chili powder, and a few fenugreek seeds. Then add about half the amount of coconut milk and place it on the stove to cook.

Next, once the dhal mixture on the stove begins to absorb the coconut milk, add the remaining coconut milk, the required amount of salt, and the Sarana leaves. Cook for about 5 minutes, then remove from the heat.
