My Actifit Report Card: November 27 2025

Installing two new garage door rolla door lifters. It makes me laugh that I can remember when we used to have to open the garage door manually. Park the car, get out in the rain, and then unlock. Ha, the good old days. When we bought this house more than 25 years ago, they weren't a standard inclusion. It was not long before I installed a couple. I had to do a few modifications to get them mounted and lined up properly. Recently, one side had stopped working, so both being pretty old and feeling like I had got my moneys worth. I replaced both. It brought back a lot of memories seeing all my old handy work. One side still makes some loud creaking sounds, I think it is the internal tensioning spring. I will have to get some spray on lubrication next time I am down at the hardware store.
