How was your day, my friend? Today I really experienced an emotional turmoil that really exploded. Whether because of trivial or serious things, all of that really invited my emotions to come out and could not be contained.
Because the emotions were really overflowing. I also started looking for a menu that could reduce a little of the emotions in me. And I started thinking about spinach and sweet corn. A menu that is only boiled. I believe this menu can reduce the level of emotions in me.
As we know, green vegetables can reduce depression because of the high folate in green vegetables, especially spinach. And we know that Folate itself can produce dipamine which is a brain chemical to stimulate feelings of happiness and help us stay calm.
Boiled corn is quite good for human brain nutrition. The content in boiled corn is rich in vitamin B1 which is very good for increasing memory in the human brain.
What a perfect combination I think to relieve a little emotion in me.
Clear Spinach and Sweet Corn Soup
This spinach and sweet corn seed soup has a plain taste. But it becomes delicious because of the addition of sweet corn. If you don't like the taste of spinach, I think adding the sweet corn option is very suitable.
Ingredients:
- 1 pc Sweet corn
- 100 grams of spinach leaves
- 200 ml water
Cut spices:
- 1 pcs Red onion
- 1 pcs Garlic
- ½ tsp salt, ½ tsp sugar and ¼ flavor enhancer
How to cook
Separate the spinach from the stems. Here we only use spinach leaves.
Cut the corn or separate the corn from the corn cob.
Slice the red onion and garlic.
Boil the water we prepared over high heat.
Once the water boils, add the sliced shallots and garlic. And don't forget to add seasonings such as salt, sugar and seasoning.
Put the spinach leaves into the boiling water. along with corn that has been separated from the cob
Correct the taste. and Wait until the vegetables are cooked for about 10 minutes and ready to serve.
