Hello Hivers, Good Morning everyone. Some time ago I made our favorite porridge. The porridge is made from my parents' harvest. Yes, my parents harvest green beans in their garden.

Yes, my parents have just harvested green beans. Some of the results they brought home and most of them sold. Because I saw the results of the green beans were quite large and the beans were beautiful. So I intend to make Green Bean porridge.

A very fatty porridge because the sauce comes from coconut milk and is also sweet from brown sugar. This porridge is always our favorite. Including my child. And also this green bean porridge can also increase children's weight. Because the content of coconut milk and green beans is good for children's weight boosters.

So I just made it by including the ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • 250 grams of green beans
  • Coconut milk (here I use 1 whole coconut)
  • 100 grams of sugar
  • 1 tbsp of salt
  • 1 liters of water
  • 4 pandan leaves
  • Ginger (1 segment)

How to make. :

  • First, wash the green beans (washing is to separate the beans from the remaining skin and also from the garbage)

  • Then boil the green beans with 750 ml of water until the beans are separated from the skin (the time needed depends on the size of the fire) and while cooking, don't leave it, friends, stir it a little so that the beans don't cook at the bottom only.

  • Now while waiting for the green beans to crack, we can switch to coconut milk. Here I use coconut milk from an old coconut but not too old, 1 grated coconut. You can also use instant coconut milk

Put the grated coconut into a blender, add water until the water covers the coconut milk (there must be a question, why does it have to be blended? Because if we blend it, the coconut milk produced will be much more than just squeezing it)

After blending, prepare a strainer. Then blend the coconut milk until smooth. And strain the coconut to separate the coconut milk and coconut pulp.

  • After the green bean skin has cracked, add the brown sugar to the boiled green beans, then stir until the brown sugar dissolves in it.

  • Oh yeah, there's one thing left behind. Don't forget the pandan leaves. Luckily I have a pandan leaf tree next to my house. I immediately picked a few leaves.

After getting the pandan leaves, I immediately washed them in clean water. After the pandan leaves were clean, I immediately put them in the boiled mung beans that had been given brown sugar. And I also added a few pieces of ginger to the boiled ones

  • After the pandan fragrance starts to come out. Add the coconut milk that we blended earlier into the boiled green beans.

Stir, add white sugar and salt to the stew. And cook until it boils or until the coconut milk is cooked. Taste correction.

This porridge is very often made as a BB booster for children and is also very suitable to be served to those who have the flu.
