Greetings! As every day I like to share the contests, giveaways, hand-on acticities today. As always we have "old" stuff here which were posted 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 days ago - but a lot of new contest from today too. Let's go!

News:

Today, on Wednesday, we also have a new theme for our own photo contest! I kept it a bit "simple" compared to last week. This week’s keyword is "Joy". You can submit a photo until next Wednesday and win HSBI – please read the details further down.

Furthermore, the lovely @melinda010100 has offered to donate some Ecency Points for the photo contest. We haven’t worked out the details yet, but as soon as everything is set, I’ll inform you – and will probably include some points directly in this week’s contest.

What also makes me happy: I was able to integrate the first music-based contests! I found 2 or 3 accounts that I’m now also monitoring. That’s great. Music? Awesome! Have fun with it!

Neuigkeiten!
Heute, am Mittwoch, haben wir auch ein neues Thema für den eigenen Fotowettbewerb! Ich habe es mal etwas "einfach" gemacht, als letzte Woche. Das Schlagwort diese Woche ist "Freude". Bis nächsten Mittwoch kannst du also ein Foto einreichen und HSBI gewinnen - bitte lies die Details dazu, weiter unten. Weiterhin hat sich die liebe @melinda010100 bereit erklärt, ein paar Ecency Points für den Fotowettbewerb zu stiften. Wir haben noch keine Details ausgemacht, aber sobald dies soweit ist, informiere ich euch darüber - und inkludiere die Points wahrscheinlich direkt in den Fotowettbewerb diese Woche. As I am always thinking about ways to strengthen engagement and activity on the blockchain, I don't just want to list raffles; I want to hold one myself! As we at @CryptoCompany (Yes, @YourFairy is a CryptoCompany account) always focus on the positive, my competition here will be no different. This week, I will select a keyword for which you can submit either a photo or some text. It doesn't matter whether you take the photo with your smartphone or a professional camera. As with these articles in general, my aim is to encourage activity on the blockchain and bring something positive into the world. Each prompt will be valid for seven days, from Wednesday to the following Thuesday (23:59:59 UTC). During this time, you can publish an article on your blog and post your photo with a link to the article in the comments. Please mention @YourFairy as the organiser of the photo contest and include the keyword for the current week – "joy" in this case.

From time to time, there are downvote campaigns against giveaways. Because I like to support riddles, raffles and giveaways, I would like to share some tips with you on how to improve your giveaway posts.

No single piece of advice will make your posts bulletproof. However, the more aspects you include, the safer it will be to avoid downvotes. Bear in mind that Hive rewards are based on POB (Proof of Brain) rather than POW (Proof of Work).

It is what it is: Posting rewards are never guaranteed until they are in your wallet. Hive is a DAO, and every Hivian can play their part in regulating this organisation — accept that.

One main factor is that 'cheap' posts intended to generate rewards are not very welcome. So you should put some effort into your publications. This means:

Avoid using the same images in multiple articles.
Don't just copy and paste text – write a large proportion of the content yourself. No filler content — provide real, valuable information about the idea behind this giveaway, such as some background information or something to learn.
Give away valuable content. The ratio between the prize and the reward for posting is an important factor.
Encourage real interaction. Simply writing a comment is probably not enough. A photo or writing contest, for example, is different.
Asking for votes in return for entering your giveaway is not welcome.

If you ever receive downvotes:

Don't start screaming.
If you receive a comment relating to the downvote, politely ask how you can improve. But be aware that the downvoter may not want to waste any time with you. Don't upset them.

Von Zeit zu Zeit gibt es Downvote-Kampagnen gegen Giveaways. Da ich gerne Rätsel, Verlosungen und Giveaways unterstütze, möchte ich hier ein paar Tipps mit dir teilen, wie du deine Giveaway-Beiträge verbessern kannst.

Kein einzelner Ratschlag macht deine Beiträge unangreifbar. Aber je mehr Aspekte du berücksichtigst, desto sicherer wird es, Downvotes zu vermeiden. Denk daran: Hive-Rewards basieren auf POB (Proof of Brain) und nicht auf POW (Proof of Work).

So ist es nun mal: Posting-Rewards sind niemals garantiert, bis sie in deiner Wallet sind. Hive ist eine DAO, und jeder Hivian kann seinen Teil dazu beitragen, diese Organisation zu regulieren — akzeptiere das.

Vermeide es, dieselben Bilder in mehreren Artikeln zu verwenden.

Kopiere und füge nicht einfach nur Text ein – schreibe einen Großteil des Inhalts selbst. Kein Füllmaterial — biete echte, wertvolle Informationen über die Idee hinter dem Giveaway, z. B. etwas Hintergrundwissen oder etwas zum Lernen.

Verschenke etwas Wertvolles. Das Verhältnis zwischen dem Gewinn und der Belohnung für den Beitrag ist ein wichtiger Faktor.

Fördere echte Interaktion. Einfach nur einen Kommentar schreiben zu lassen, reicht wahrscheinlich nicht. Ein Foto- oder Schreibwettbewerb zum Beispiel ist etwas anderes.

Um Stimmen im Gegenzug für die Teilnahme an deinem Giveaway zu bitten, ist nicht erwünscht.

Fang nicht an zu schreien.

Wenn du einen Kommentar zum Downvote erhältst, frag höflich, wie du dich verbessern kannst. Sei dir aber bewusst, dass der Downvoter vielleicht keine Zeit mit dir verschwenden will. Verärgere ihn nicht.
