My family and I didn't expect to get any gifts this Christmas but surprisingly we received a package from a family friend. Among all the nice things in this package was something unexpected, especially over here where hard work is something we take pride in. It is actually a lot less complicated than one would expect it to be (forgot to take pictures of that, was in curiosity mode), it just had a couple of wires connected to the fingerprint button and then a few sensors that will make the wheels change direction whenever opposed, and of course, the vacuum that'll suck in the dirt. You can see the brushes that spin and sweep, the battery slot and so on. I plugged it in to charge it before the test run and I could already hear comments like "Before you do all this you should have already finished sweeping manually." Suprisingly though, it barely passed. It's supposed to make life easier by cleaning the place but It has so many tiny issues, and once the tiny issues become a lot then it is a big issue. First of all, since it doesn't have any type of Artificial intelligence or complex sensor it just ends up moving randomly back and forth and may end up missing a lot of spots. When I mean a lot, a lot, once there's any small opposition it changes direction. Maybe if you leave it long enough it'll eventually get to the part you want it to clean. Secondly, I tried different types of dirt and it's safe to say this can only get rid of dust and sand particles. Anything slightly different like a small piece of paper or something else, it is going to pick it and move it about before putting it back down. In the end, the oldies had the last laugh. It would be a lot quicker to just get a broom and sweep it myself than wait for it to get there. Ofcourse maybe leaving it to run around the parlour all day could make the house cleaner, but you also run the risk of accidentally stepping on it and also it could pick up something important. I had to put it back in it's box and let it be. That's how bad it was. I went online to do some research and I saw a lot of better ones that performed better (at least in the reviews). It was a free gift of course, but I had to go and check the price of this one just to know if it was worth the price. It costs 23,000 naira which is about 14 dollars. Budget friendly, but even at that I could never buy it, and I don't recommend anyone waste money on this. En realidad es mucho menos complicado de lo que uno esperaría (se me olvidó hacer fotos de eso, estaba en modo curiosidad), sólo tenía un par de cables conectados al botón de huellas y luego unos sensores que harán que las ruedas cambien de dirección cuando se opongan, y por supuesto, el aspirador que aspirará la suciedad. Sorprendentemente, sin embargo, apenas pasó. Al final, los viejos rieron los últimos. Sería mucho más rápido coger una escoba y barrerla yo mismo que esperar a que llegara. Por supuesto, dejarla correr por el salón todo el día puede hacer que la casa esté más limpia, pero también se corre el riesgo de pisarla accidentalmente y de que coja algo importante. Tuve que volver a meterlo en su caja y dejarlo estar. Así de mal estaba. Me puse a investigar en internet y vi muchos mejores que funcionaban mejor (al menos en las críticas). Era un regalo gratuito, por supuesto, pero tuve que ir a comprobar el precio de éste para saber si merecía la pena. Cuesta 23.000 nairas, unos 14 dólares. Es asequible, pero ni siquiera por ese precio podría comprarlo, y no recomiendo a nadie que malgaste su dinero en esto. Ahorren y compren uno mejor. ###
