Having that from the beginning helped a lot, since I didn’t have to keep adjusting the position later on. It wasn’t something rigid, just a guide to build on. From there, everything was developed on top of that base, making small changes when needed as the piece progressed. With the pose already figured out, I could focus more on proportions and overall balance instead of going back and forth on the basics. This stage was pretty technical and calm, just checking that everything felt right visually.
