Greetings, dear friends at @foodiesbeehive, welcome to my blog. A few days ago, I was craving quesillo, a dessert I really like, one of my favorites, especially the coconut version. But, to change up the recipe, I wanted to try something new. Since I had bought some passion fruit, I thought of using it in the recipe. I imagined the combination, the sweetness and creaminess of the condensed milk with the tartness of the fruit.

The recipe is traditional, using sugar for the caramel, eggs, condensed milk, vanilla, and passion fruit juice. As you can see, there are few ingredients, but they are essential for making this dessert consistent and delicious. I owe you the passion fruit seeds for garnish, but I don't like them, so I just left some fruit to decorate and present the dish. I hope you like it.

## Ingredients

-1 cup passion fruit juice

-1 can condensed milk (397 g)

-6 eggs

-1 tablespoon vanilla

-1 cup sugar for making caramel

## Preparation

1.-. Prepare the caramel. Pour the cup of sugar into a cheese maker and cook over low heat. Allow the sugar to melt on its own, stirring occasionally so that it blends with the melted part. Once it has melted completely, turn off the heat and carefully swirl the cheesecake pan so that the caramel coats all the sides. Let it cool to room temperature. Do not pour the cheesecake mixture into the hot caramel.

2.-. Place the ingredients in the blender, starting with the eggs.

3.-. We continue with the passion fruit juice, condensed milk, and vanilla.

4.-. Blend well for about 10 seconds and pour the mixture into the cheese maker. Cook with the cheese maker covered in a double boiler over high heat for 45 minutes.

5.- Use a wooden skewer to check if the cheese is ready. If the skewer comes out clean, it's ready. If not, cook for another 10 minutes and check again with the wooden skewer.

6.- Let the cheese cool at room temperature, then store it in the refrigerator (in the lower part, not in the freezer) for about 8 hours. After that time, remove it from the mold by placing a plate on top of the cheese mold and turning it upside down. If necessary, before removing it from the mold, carefully loosen the cheese around the edges with a table knife.

Saludos estimados amigos de @foodiesbeehive, bienvenidos a mi blog. Hace días tenía ganas de comer quesillo, tiempo sin comerlo, es un postre que me gusta mucho, de mis preferidos, el de coco, pero, para variar la receta, quise probar algo nuevo. Como había comprado algunas frutas de maracuyá, se me ocurrió usarlo para la receta, me imaginé la combinación, el dulzor y la cremosidad de la leche condensada con el toque ácido de esa fruta.

La receta es la tradicional en la usamos azúcar para el caramelo, huevos, leche condensada, vainilla y el jugo de maracuyá. Como pueden ver, son pocos los ingredientes, pero básicos para lograr que este postre quede consistente y delicioso. Les debo las semilla de la maracuyá para adornar, pero no me agradan, así que solo dejé algunas futas para decorar y presentar el platillo, espero les guste.

## Ingredientes

-1 taza de jugo de maracuyá

-1 lata de leche condensada de 397 grs

-6 huevos

-1 cucharada de vainilla

- 1 taza de azúcar para preparar el caramelo

## Preparación

1.-. Preparamos el caramelo. En una quesillera vertemos la taza de azúcar y la ponemos a cocinar en una hornilla a fuego bajo. Dejamos que el azúcar se vaya derritiendo solita, de vez en cuando movemos al azúcar solo para que se vaya integrando con la parte que se va derritiendo. Una vez que se haya derretido toda, apagamos el fuego y con cuidado movemos la quesillera de manera que el caramelo se esparza por todas sus paredes. Dejamos que se enfríe a temperatura ambiente. No se vierte la mezcla del quesillo con el caramelo caliente.

2.-. Colocamos los ingredientes en la licuadora, primero los huevos.

3.-. Seguimos con el jugo de maracuyá, la leche condensada y la vainilla.

4.-. Licuamos bien, por unos 10 segundos y vertemos la mezcla en la quesillera. Cocinamos con la quesillera tapada a baño de María, a fuego alto por 45 minutos.

5.- Con un palillo de madera pinchamos el quesillo para verificar si está listo, si el palillo sale limpio, ya está. De lo contrario, lo dejamos cocinar unos 10 minutos más, verificamos nuevamente con el palillo de madera.

6.- Dejamos enfriar el quesillo a temperatura ambiente, luego lo guardamos en la nevera o refri (en la parte de abajo, no en el congelador) por unas 8 horas. Pasado ese tiempo, procedemos a desmoldar, colocando un plato sobre la quesillera y damos vuelta. De ser necesario, antes de desmoldar, con la ayuda de un cuchillo de mesa y con mucho cuidado, despegamos el quesillo por las orillas.
