As mothers we have endless responsibilities, and that involves guiding our children in their school activities, especially when they have changed stages, as in my daughter's case. High school is another issue that they have to adapt to little by little.

In this new school stage, the changes have not only been in the school and uniforms, but also in study schedules. Dariana's classes are in the afternoon for a fairly long time, with little availability to do her activities. However, everything is adaptation.

We want to maintain that so she can get on track with middle school and not even pile up her homework, which hasn't been easy because she She felt overwhelmed on the weekends, so we alternated hours between Saturdays and Sundays so she wouldn't feel exhausted.

Schoolwork will increase more and more, so it's important that my daughter understands the importance of dedicating a reasonable amount of time to her activities, because there will come times when she will have to do her activities alone.

My role as a mother is to be aware of every step, not do her homework. She needs to get on the same page as the new system now in high school so she can maintain her grades, she just needs guidance, and with me she'll always have it, even if that means she's leading her to become an independent young woman, which isn't bad.

Las mamás tenemos un sin fin de responsabilidades, eso involucra orientar a nuestros hijos en sus actividades escolares, más cuando han cambiado de etapa como en el caso de mi hija, la secundaria es otro tema al que se tiene que adaptar poco a poco.

En ésta nueva etapa escolar los cambios no solo han sido de colegio, uniformes, también de horarios de estudio, las clases de Dariana son por la tarde durante un tiempo bastante extenso, con poca disponibilidad para hacer sus actividades, sin embargo todo es adaptación.

Para poder compensar la tarde nos dedicamos a las tareas para la casa, los fines de semana, por las mañanas me toca trabajo así que se hace difícil, sin embargo afortunadamente las actividades no son de un día para otro, las que son así, son sencillas, ella las hace por la noche, o en la mañana rapidito.

Los fines de semana nos sentamos a organizar sus actividades, dejo que ella tome el control en ese sentido, mi trabajo básicamente es orientar lo más que pueda para que maneje las novedades de ésta nueva etapa, entendiendo que cada cuaderno es una materia, totalmente diferente a la primaria.

Mi hija es súper despistada pero en cuestiones escolares siempre ha sido aplicada, es lo que queremos mantener para que agarre el ritmo de la secundaria, para que incluso no se le acumulen tareas, cosa que no ha sido fácil porque ella sentía que los fines de semana estaba colapsada, así que, alternamos las horas entre sábados y domingos para que no se sienta agotada.

Las tareas escolares cada vez se irán incrementando, por lo tanto es importante que mi hija entienda la importancia de dedicar tiempo prudente a sus actividades, porque llegarán momentos donde sola tendrá que hacer sus actividades.

Mi papel como mamá es estar pendiente de cada paso, no hacer sus tareas, ella necesita tomar el carril del nuevo sistema ahora en la secundaria para que pueda mantener sus calificaciones, solo necesita una guía y conmigo siempre la tendrá, aunque eso la encamine a formar una joven independiente, que no está mal.

Es un trabajo en equipo, aunque mi participación es solo un punto de partida, pero estoy segura que ella se siente más a gusto, confiada, hasta segura cuando tiene alguna duda y estoy allí para orientarla. La idea es ir creando hábitos que tarde o temprano ella entenderá que son los mejores para su práctica escolar.

Desde que mi hija comenzó en su etapa escolar siempre he estado presente guiando cada paso, ahora que está en otro nivel, estaremos juntas en ésto para que pueda hacer de éste proceso, una experiencia con los mejores recuerdos, así como cuando viví mi época escolar, para mí la más maravillosa de mi mundo 🌎.
