I find this new game mode, designed with new players in mind, interesting. It's designed so that players compete under more or less the same conditions and learn more about what #splinterlands has to offer.
The chance to win more copies of the Foundation set is a good incentive for battles, especially if you're only playing #freetoplay and with the bonus of being able to sell the cards. However, I think it's very appropriate that these cards have a level limit. If they could be at the same level, it would be unfair to players who have invested in other sets and leveled up their cards, only to have a free set (unlocked and tradable) come along and be on equal footing.

Ahora que recordamos el modo campaña, podemos pasar a hablar del modo Frontier. El modo Frontier, es un formato de juego #freetoplay donde los nuevos jugadores podrán tener sus primeras batallas competitivas. Al ser un modo enfocado en los nuevos, solo se permiten usar cartas de este set. ![image.png](https://steemitimages.com/786x432/https://images.ecency.com/DQmZ3rEpmCBKMWjzR9eJKHfgctZ8aJUDGL1vBRzUznkse6G/image.png) Este modo de juego no permite a los jugadores obtener recompensas de $SPS o $GLINT, solo otorga la posibilidad de ganar más cartas del set Fundación. Al ganar solo las cartas de este set, permite a los nuevos jugadores entender como funciona la combinación de cartas para subir su nivel. Pero no es lo único que trae este modo, les cuento lo siguiente: - Puedes ganar cartas del set que no podías conseguir en el modo campaña. - Se abre la posibilidad de conseguir la versión dorada de cada una de las cartas del set. - Al ganar cartas en este modo, te abre la posibilidad de venderlas en el mercado. Nota: Estas cartas tienen un límite de nivel, al nivel de cartas para la Liga Plata, me explico: - Comunes: Nivel 5. - Raras: Nivel 4. - Épicas: Nivel 3. - Legendarias: Nivel 2. --- Ahora bien, para ganar una carta necesitas cinco victorias en un mismo día. Este modo es un desafío, al luchar con el mismo tipo de cartas y nivel, hace que tengamos que conocer mejor las cartas y plantear estrategias que superen a las del oponente. Es entretenido en ese punto. Por el momento, mi racha es mixta, en ocasiones pierdo muchas seguidas, en otras gano. Dread es derrotado al recibir un ataque. Pasando al oponente a quedar solo con Time Bandit. Para mí es interesante este nuevo modo de juego, pensado en los nuevos. Algo pensado en que los jugadores se enfrenten en más o menos las mismas condiciones y vayan aprendiendo más sobre lo que ofrece #splinterlands.
La posibilidad de ganar más copias del set Fundación es buen incentivo para las batallas, especialmente si solo estás jugando #freetoplay y con el bonus de poder vender las cartas. Ahora bien, me parece muy acertado que estas cartas tengan un límite de nivel. Ya que si se pudiera tener al mismo nivel, sería menospreciar a los jugadores que han invertido en los otros sets y subiendo sus cartas de nivel, para que llegue un set gratuito (desbloqueado y tradeable) a estar en igualdad de condiciones.
