One thing we will all have to do while we are visiting and expending energy doing all the things that we end up doing, is eat. I love to eat. Without food, I would literally be dead, and so would you. 🤣 Seriously though, Gatlinburg boasts some of the finest cuisine in Tennessee and I hope you all get a chance to experience it. Here are some of my favorites: ## The [Mellow Mushroom](https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g60842-d2085195-Reviews-Mellow_Mushroom_Gatlinburg-Gatlinburg_Tennessee.html) There are tons of places to eat up in Gatlinburg. My personal favorite, is a pizza house called The [Mellow Mushroom](https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g60842-d2085195-Reviews-Mellow_Mushroom_Gatlinburg-Gatlinburg_Tennessee.html). They have any topping you can think of and are also Vegan & Vegetarian friendly plus have a Gluten-Free menu. I personally, like meat and cheese, but to each their own. @thebeardflex has offered to sponsor a meal here for us from the #pizza crew! So, we will be eating here one night. ### [Chesapeake's Seafood and Raw Bar](https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g60842-d18980606-Reviews-Chesapeake_s_Seafood_and_Raw_Bar-Gatlinburg_Tennessee.html) I absolutely love seafood. This is one of the top ranked restaurants in Tennessee and could be a nice joint to have a big dinner. They take reservations (though I'm not sure how far out), have a full bar and can also accommodate the Vegan and Gluten-Free crowds. There isn't much that tastes better than a giant waterbug. ### [Split Rail Eats](https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g60842-d13995976-Reviews-Split_Rail_Eats-Gatlinburg_Tennessee.html) Now, half of all the food in my life can be attributed to two main things - cereal and sandwiches! Split Rail has some of the best sammichez around and isn't too hefty on the pocketbook either. Their Cheesesteak is frig'n amazing! Like most places, they have Vegan, Vegetarian and Gluten-Free menus for those that need special attention. It's a fairly laid back diner atmosphere I think people would enjoy. In all reality, it doesn't matter to me where we or anyone eats, as long as some of that time is spent together sharing the experience of it all.
