A morning filled with thoughts

It's Friday, early in the morning, and I begin my process of going out for a walk and encountering nature's gifts. The sun shines brightly, peeking through the cotton clouds in the sky. With each step I take, a thought is born; each footfall is a tapestry of ideas. Thank you, Lord, for this new day! Feeling the delicious fresh air on my body, seeing the tree branches swaying, and hearing the birds singing reminded me that I was alive and that the context was right for me to continue thinking.

In an instant, I stopped in front of a marked path. From this path, I could see the silhouettes of the mountains still covered in mist. It was here that the sun shone in all its glory. It was irresistible to capture the postcard-perfect image.

I stopped in front of a wonderful landscape, mountains dressed in intense green, and there, in silence, I also observed the blue sky between white clouds. At that very moment, I thought about the ephemeral, the eternal, what I am and what I want to be; my advances and setbacks, my victories and defeats. At no point did I have expectations; I did not expect answers. In fact, the mountain did not give them to me, but it did offer me space. That great space to think, to feel, to simply be. Peace. In that being, I found a peace I did not know I was seeking. That little bed in the mountains awaited us, where we gathered on Fridays to share coffee after our hike. I sat silently in front of the humble but beautiful house. From that place where I could visualize, I also thought about how much progress I had made with my training and the positive effect it had on my health, energy, and well-being... My friend, from inside the house, seemed to be connected to me and said the same thing I was thinking. Incredible! When the coffee was ready, we set the table and cut some bread, which isn't part of our diet, but there are times when we stray from our strict healthy eating habits, ha ha ha. Another great moment, without a doubt. For more than two hours, over coffee, Veronica and I talked non-stop about the same thing: training. And I have to say that coffee without interaction isn't coffee. Coffee has magic, and it proved it there, at that precise moment, amid the steam and heat of the cup. Right then and there, I understood that some moments don't need to be grand to be eternal.

**Mañana nutrida de pensamientos** Es viernes, primeras hora del día, inicia mi proceso para salir a caminar y encontrarme con los regalos de la naturaleza. El sol brilla con intensidad, se asoma entre motas de algodón en el cielo. Entre cada paso dado nace un pensamiento, cada pisada era una tejido de ideas. ¡Gracias Señor por este nuevo día! Sentir el deliciosos aire fresco sobre mi cuerpo, ver batir ramas de los árboles y escuchar el canto de las aves me recordó que estaba viva y que el contexto estaba dado para seguir pensando. En un instante, me detuve frente a un camino marcado. Desde este camino visualice siluetas de la montaña cubiertas aún de neblina, era aquí donde el sol brillaba en su máximo esplendor. Fue irresistible capturar Me detuve frente a un paisaje maravilloso, montañas vestidas de verde intenso y allí, en silencio, observé también el cielo azul entre nubes blancas. Justo en ese instante pensé en lo efímero, en lo eterno, en lo que soy y en lo que deseo ser; en mis avances y retrocesos, en las victorias y las derrotas. En ningún momento tuve expectativas, no esperaba respuestas, de hecho, la montaña no me las dio, pero me ofreció espacio. Ese gran espacio para pensar, para sentir, para simplemente estar. Paz, en ese estar, encontré una paz que no sabía que buscaba. Nos esperaba en la montaña ese pequeño lecho donde nos reunimos los días viernes para compartir el café luego de la caminata. Estuve sentada en silencio frente a la humilde pero hermosa casa. Desde ese lugar donde visualizaba también pensaba en lo mucho que he avanzado con mis entrenamientos y el efecto positivo para mi salud, energía, bienestar... Mi amiga, desde dentro de la casa parecía estar conectada conmigo, comentó lo mismo que yo pensaba. ¡Increíble! Cuando estuvo el café preparamos la mesa, cortamos algunos trozos pan que aunque no forman parte de nuestra dieta, hay momento en que nos salimos de la línea estricta de la buena alimentación ja,ja,ja. Otro gran momento sin lugar a duda. Por más de dos horas, en medio del café, Verónica y yo hablamos sin parar de lo mismo, entrenamiento. Y, es que debo decir que café sin interacción no es café. Fue para mi un gran placer repetir otra taza de café, y otra, y otra... La conversación amena no se detenía je,je,je. Las palabras fluían como el aroma del café recién colado, la brisa fresca con olor a lluvia envolvía el ambiente, la montaña permanecía en su silencio majestuoso, pareció atender las normas de cortesía, hizo silencio mientras Vero y yo tertulianos. ¿Será que escuchó nuestras reflexiones? El café tiene magia y lo demostró allí,en ese preciso momento, entre el humo y calentura de la taza, justo ahí entendí que hay momentos que no necesitan ser grandiosos para ser eternos.
