My first drink in the morning is a cup of coffee, but since the virus returned, I had to come up with a drink that would help me counteract the virus, while still having my first cup of coffee. To many, this may seem crazy, but in my desire and desperation, this is what motivated me to prepare it and try it, without knowing what it would taste or smell like. I took a chance; it occurred to me that great inventions always begin with a try. If it works, I'll try it, and if it doesn't, I'll have nothing to lose, I'll just throw the drink away.

So I started preparing my coffee as usual. After finishing it, I started preparing the tea I normally make with homemade turmeric, ginger, and oregano. To do this, I boiled water in a pot. While I waited, I peeled the ginger and turmeric and weighed 4 grams of each, then grated them. The water began to boil, and I added the ginger, turmeric, and oregano portions. I let it boil for 5 minutes, turned off the heat, and let it steep for 10 minutes. After this time, I strained this mixture. I then poured half the coffee into my Jumbo cup and half the tea into my other Jumbo cup, so they were equal parts. I mixed both cups and divided it into two portions. I would drink one like that, and I added two freshly squeezed lemons to the other.

My experience with the first cup of the blend without lemon was enjoyable; in short, I enjoyed it as my first drink in the morning. The flavor of ginger, oregano, and some turmeric were very faintly noticeable. The coffee flavor predominated, I think because I made it strong. The blend of flavors resonated very well with my taste buds. The medicinal flavor with the coffee results in a full and aromatic flavor, not too complex, but tolerable. As for the blend, adding lemon took away much of the coffee's flavor; it was a less than gratifying combination.

I wanted to try an experiment with my husband and son, Abraham. I gave him a cup with the blend without lemon. At first, he was puzzled by the flavor. They continued drinking it and were pleased to finish it. Although if I had to choose between regular coffee and this, he would obviously choose regular coffee. On the other hand, I gave them the blend with lemon to try, which they completely rejected. I convinced myself every day that drinking coffee with these three ingredients progressively helped me fight my viral condition. Estos días he estado muy creativa en mis bebidas matutinas y nocturnas a base de café, inventando recetas de café para combatir el malestar de gripe que me arropó desde el día jueves. > Mi primera bebida por las mañanas, es una taza de café, pero debido a que la virosis volvió, tuve que idear una bebida que me ayudara a contrarrestar la virosis, sin dejar de tomar mi primera taza de café, a muchos les parecerá una locura, pero en mis ganas y desesperación esto fue lo que me motivó a prepararla y probarla, sin saber qué sabor y olor tendría. Me arriesgué, me vino a la mente que los grandes inventos, siempre comienzan intentándolo. Si sale bien, la pegué y si no, no perdería nada, solo desecharía la bebida. > Así que comencé preparando mi café puro como de costumbre, después de terminarlo, inicié la preparación del té que normalmente hago con cúrcuma, jengibre y orégano casero, para ello, pude a hervir agua en una olla, mientras esperaba, pele jengibre, cúrcuma y pese 4 gramos de cada uno, luego rallarlos; también pese 4 gramos de orégano, para que la mezcla no fuera tan fuerte, no sabía si le quitaría el sabor al café. > El agua comenzó a hervir, agregué las porciones de jengibre, cúrcuma y orégano, dejé hervir por 5 minutos, apagué y dejé reposar por 10 minutos. En cuanto a la mezcla agregándole el limón, le quitó gran parte del sabor del café; era una mezcla nada gratificante. > Quise hacer un experimento con mi esposo en hijo Abrahán, le di una taza con la mezcla sin limón, al principio le extrañó el sabor, siguieron tomándola y le agradó al final haberlo terminado, aunque si lo pusiera a escoger, entre un café normal y este, obviamente escogería el café normal. Por otra parte les di a probar la mezcla con limón, la cual rechazaron completamente. En conclusión, sigo preparando la mezcla de café con el té de jengibre, cúrcuma y orégano casero, sin agregar limón, después de esta primera taza, me doy un descanso de 4 a 6 horas para tomarme este té con el limón. > No soy quien para aconsejar o recomendar esta bebida que experimenté, la hice bajo, mi propia responsabilidad. Las personas que sufren de hipertensión o problemas del corazón, problemas de coagulación, embarazadas y lactantes, no deberían intentar probar esta bebida. > Evaluando mi experiencia con esta bebida, puedo decir, que me ayudo en mi cuadro viral. Desde la antigüedad de utilizaba estás hierbas para combatir enfermedades de forma natural. Se por fuentes de la web que el jengibre tiene propiedades antiinflamatoria, digestiva y antioxidante, ideal para fortalecer el sistema inmunológico. En cuanto a la cúrcuma, contiene curcumina que tiene efectos antiinflamatorios y antioxidantes, ayuda a reducir los dolores articulares. Por otro lado el orégano casero, tiene compuestos antimicrobianos y antioxidantes, que nos ayudan a combatir infecciones. Me convencí cada día que tomar café con estos tres ingredientes, me ayudaron progresivamente a combatir mi cuadro viral, actualmente me siento muy bien, lo seguiré tomando hasta que me cure completamente. En mi caso, realizo tomas de media taza, equivalente a 125 mililitros aproximadamente, mi taza Jumbo es de capacidad para 240 mililitros, esta mezcla la tomo por lo menos 3 veces al día. Con cada toma, se que me refuerza mi sistema inmunológico, mejora mis dolores articulares, combate la infección producto de la virosis, además de la cafeína que me aporta dosis de energía, manteniéndome con mejores ánimos.
