How much does a Cheddar Toast cost at Costa London (December 2025)

Ein einfacher Toast mit Cheddar und Tomaten kostet in einer Costa-Filiale 5.40 Pfund, das sind umgerechnet 6.15 Euro plus Umrechnungsgebühren. Das hat mich ein bisschen schockiert, da es sich eher um ein Fertigprodukt handelt.

Andererseits sind die Gastro-Preise auch in der EU seit Corona heftig gestiegen. Ein Cola in einem Tanzlokal in Wien kostet zum Beispiel schon 5.10 Euro.

Dann sind 6-7 Euro für einen Fertig-Toast vielleicht auch nicht so teuer.

A simple toastie with cheddar and tomato costs £5.40 in a Costa branch in London, which is equivalent to €6.15 plus conversion fees. That shocked me a little at first, as it's more of a ready-made product.

On the other hand, restaurant prices in the EU have also risen sharply since corona. For example, a Coke in a dance club in Vienna costs already €5.10.

So maybe €6-7 for a ready-made toast isn't that expensive after all.
