Having Fried Fritters and Prawn Cracker For Dinner At Jin Long Wu Xiang Prawn Crackers After Christmas Shopping

Introduction
Good day everyone, hope you are doing fine and well this lovely start of the week. As Christmas is approaching, my wife and I were busy getting the supplies and stuff for Christmas and we even headed down to a Christmas decorations wholesaler to get decorations for our house and Christmas tree. Unfortunately, no photography is allowed at the wholesaler, else I would love to share how nicely done up the place is.
And because after a good shopping, we were hungry but headed home bound to get some food. But along the way, I had a little craving and apparently my wife had the same craving as well. We just wanted to eat some bee hoon (rice noodles) for dinner. And one of the best way to have bee hoon is to eat it with fried fritters and prawn crackers. So let's get right on to share what we had for dinner.
Jin Long Prawn Cracker
Nestled in a neighbourhood coffeeshop in the housing district of Ang Mo Kio is where Jin Long Prawn Cracker is located.
For Singaporeans whom wanna know the exact address, here it is.
Stall Name: Jin Long Prawn Crackers
Address: 530 Ang Mo Kio Ave 10, #01-2379, Singapore 560530
To be honest, nice prawn crackers and fried fritters are not easy to be found in Singapore. And there equally elusive because many prawn crack/fried fritter stalls co-own foodstalls with other hawkers especially those whom sells food items that are more morning based such as porridge, carrot cake, etc because most, if not all, prawn cracker and fried fritter stalls typically start operating after breakfast times as they are fantastic for dinner and supper. The stall that we are eating from today closes at 1.30am on most days, so if I have a craving and don't mind traveling down, Jin Long or another favourite stall in the east will be where I will be patronizing.
And you can see from the picture above there are so many options for us to choose from. From fish fingers, to fish cakes, squid to sausages, spring rolls to fried toufu, everything just looked amazing. The key here is to pick items that are made by the owners rather than just getting all the processed food such as fish balls so that you can have blend of fritters that are not just what you can get from your neighbourhood supermarket.
Remember what I've mentioned about another prawn cracker stall int he east? There is something that is sold here but not there - Bee Hoon. Since we wanted to have some Bee Hoon, this is the place to come to. While the quality of the fritter at the other stall is slightly better than here, the lack of bee hoon to complete your meal is sometimes a deal breaker. But I still love that place, so maybe in the near future when I visit, I can also do up a post to share with the community.
And here is what we've ordered:

A simple dinner of fried fritters, prawn cracker and bee hoon accompanied by 2 bowls of spicy dipping sauce. The bee hoon is fried well and had a springy texture, and this fulfils all the various requirement I would ask for in a plate of fried bee hoon.
And now to the main items of fritters and prawn cracker:
Individually these items are what we ordered:
1 x Prawn Cracker
1 x Fish Fried Fritter
1 x 5 spices roll
1 x fried toufu
1 x fish cake
1 x otah (spicy rich paste) cake
And combined, it is such a joy to eat them. Nothing fanciful but just a plate of goodness. Every item that we gotten are nice on their own, especially those tat were made by the stall owners such as prawn cracker, fried fish fritter, 5 spices roll and otah cake.
Craving satisfied and to balance off the fried stuff, we also ordered a fruit salad (rojak) from another stall to ensure we have enough fibre to complete the meal.
Closing
So glad that we managed to get out Christmas decorations and at the same times get to eat something that we haven't ate for a long time. Prices were affordable and we had so many items to chose from. Everything was fried to perfection, at the right crisp and not over fried. Gem found that is not to be missed.
Thank you for coming by and have a great day!
