steevc just finished a 16.5km run, that lasted for 97 minutes.
This run helped steevc burn 1253.0 calories.

Description from Strava:
It was a day for a longer run, especially after not running yesterday when I helped scan finishers at parkrun. I did the lap around RAF Henlow, which I have not done many times before. That resulted in a few segment best times on Strava.

The base does not have any active planes, but there is one on display. They have a grass airstrip that is used for small planes and gliders. It was originally used in the first world war.

It was a nice morning for running. Everything has been drying out a little. It was overcast and not too cold. I was feeling pretty strong and the pace was not bad. Heading towards Shefford there is a long hill, but it did not feel hard. I took the back roads through Clifton and into Henlow. It was fairly quiet, but I did see a few other runners.

Some of the last part was along a bit of the parkrun course, but I was going a bit slower than race speed today. I walked over the railway footbridge before jogging home to clock up over 16km. I added a load of walking to that today with a trip to Ikea. We have not been in a while and it was really busy. Of course we spent more money than expected.

I hope you had a good weekend.
