Focus is the bridge between goals and accomplishments.

We were always asked to set a goal in life before we can take appropriate action to achieve it. Doing something without a goal is voluntary because it is an exercise of personal freedom to prioritize the experience itself over the outcome. I am just wondering, how many of us have set goals in life or even here on #hive. Have we ever wondered, how much hive power we are targeting, or even what made us to be active on hive. Doing my morning stretching and unable to get any motivation made me to reflect that, taught something that I was missing lately.

Every morning, I do some Indoor stretching exercise. It was meant to flex my body, before I can start our day also it aims at controlling my weight. Due to cold outside, I prefer some indoor exercises only, but lately, I am losing focus on it, as I never set a goal for my self as far as my stretching is concerned. I remember, few years ago, I set a goal to reduce my weight, and everyday I pushed myself hard to achieve it. It was not a voluntary effort but a genuine effort that gave me a desired result in quick time. But this time, even though I was focus on maintaining my weight in control I have not set any kind of goal. I was mere following a voluntary action to keep my body in flexible condition. A little bit of flexing muscle or stretching would never get to my desired result. To achieve my goal I should focus myself more on my workout, but before I have to set goals and wakes up every day to inch ahead in achieving my goals. I think I realized this during my today morning. Last few days, I was not much focused and doing the stretching more as a routine stuffs without any motivation. But now I noticed a inflated tummy which is alarming for my body and should work now to achieve a clear cut goals ahead.

When we remove the goal, we can act purely based on passion or curiosity. A goal often forces a person to live in the future, valuing only the eventual outcome. Seeing my lean and fit is what kept me going last time. I successfully able to manage my morning workouts, then day offices and even took out time with friends in evening. Because I have planned my mind and body accordingly. But this time even though I have a routine to follow but without a clear cut goal. I am not able to see the result and even getting motivation. I am bulging and gaining wait. Rather than just chasing a single result (which in my case was to get my body up and running), focusing on the process of achieving the main goal / objective builds lasting habits and long-term success. Simply doing something without a goal often solves symptoms rather than root causes, leading to recurring problems. (in my case I noticed a bulging tummy) .
Making it happen
Without a defined, measurable outcome, we cannot gauge whether we are making progress or if our actions are contributing to a desirable result. Without a goal, we may simply be "going through the motions," resulting in a lack of meaning, engagement, and a feeling of aimlessness (this is what i felt this morning). Without a clear target, energy is often wasted on irrelevant tasks, making it harder to achieve meaningful results. Without a goal, it is impossible to measure progress or determine if actions are effective, making achievements difficult and leaving one feeling lost, unfulfilled, and unmotivated. I am going through the same phase.

Todays morning I regrouped my mind towards a goal to control my weight. At the same time, i started wondering, about hive. A platform, that allows the different community to flourish is getting silent days by day. There is hidden fear in everybody mind. But there must be a goal that kept the user motivated all this year and kept going till now. When I joined, my mentorship was in wrong hand, so unable to figure out, what hive is all about, but gradually the engagement and posting help me to find it a place where I can be of my own. And it helps me in continuing so far. With time, I wanted to increase my hive power and targeting to get their as much as possible. But still wondering , What are others goals on hive?
In good faith - Peace!!
