Hi all,

Today I finished the hive power up month january #pum.
The goal of this challange was to increase your hive power every day of the month with minimum of 1 hive (/ day).

I decided to start with 10 hive (due to #PUD on the 1st of the month) and increase the amount of hive I powered up with 0,1 every day.

Table below shows my progress during this challange.

In total I powered up 356,5 Hive in January. Which is awesome as getting more hive power was 1 of my goals for 2025.

Reflections:
The #feedback I got for the wallet interface is that it is easy to accidently "transfer to savings" rather than "power up" which you do not see right away as the transaction overview looks almost the same. it might be helpful for new users to have that "transfer to savings" not right next to " power up" (especially since you don't get interest on the hive saving account.

Furthermore, as I am still discovering here I might just not have found the right paths but.. I can’t understand why it is so expensive to wrap/deposit/withdraw hive from hive-engine.
Please note - this is by no means intended as a stab to the current service suppliers (they just provide and get what people are willing to pay for it!
The fee up to 0.75% might sound like nothing, but one of Hive’s selling point is no fees. I understand it is a service provided - so a fee to reward the service provider also sounds fair. But I also feel this might be a barrier to enter the ecosysteem for short term profits.
So I don't intend this as critism towards the service providers but much more a call the community to provide an more steemlined alternative.
#askhive #askinleo How do you all view this?

Future plans!
I did liked participating in this event. I will try to go for a year round event and continue to upgrade everyday!
