Good morning, friends. How are you? I'm doing great and working nonstop. I've already started my exhausting routine at both jobs, but at the end of the day, they fill me with happiness. I recently took a trip to Mesa de Esnujaque in the state of Trujillo. On the way, we made a necessary stop to eat in Bachaquero, which, by the way, is a city in the state of Zulia. It's not the first time we've eaten at this place, because when we took the route to Boconó, we also ate there, so we thought it would be ideal to go back and have some delicious empanadas for breakfast.ENGLISH VERSION (click here!)
In this busy area, there are several shops and stores that offer not only empanadas, but also other foods and products such as bread, coffee, canned goods, oil, soft drinks, juices, and even painkillers if you have any aches or pains. They serve as a supermarket, pharmacy, and restaurant, and most importantly, they are located near the main road and are easy to find.
The owner of the establishment served us kindly and patiently. We chose beef, potato and cheese, and chorizo and cheese empanadas. They looked nicely browned, although perhaps not as generously filled as I always hope an empanada will be. but the truth is that I liked the taste from the first time I tried them, which is why I wanted to go back for more. Best of all, I accompanied them with a cold malt drink, which has recently become my favorite beverage.
I would return to eat at this place again because, even though it's just a stopover, it has a quiet atmosphere and comfortable tables and seats, and we were able to satisfy our appetite before continuing our journey.

Hace poco estuve en un viaje a la Mesa de Esnujaque en el estado Trujillo, en el camino hicimos una parada necesaria para comer en Bachaquero, que por cierto, es una ciudad del estado Zulia, no es la primera vez que comemos en este sitio, pues, cuando hicimos la ruta hasta Boconó también comimos allí, así que nos pareció ideal volver a desayunar unas deliciosas empanadas.
En esta concurrida zona hay varias tiendas o locales comerciales, donde ofrecen no solo empanadas, sino otros alimentos o productos como pan, café, enlatados, aceite, bebidas gaseosas, jugos y hasta analgésicos por si tienes algún dolor, reúnen los requisitos de un supermercado, farmacia y restaurante, lo más importante es que se encuentran cerca de la carretera principal y no hay perdida para llegar.
La dueña del establecimiento nos atendió amablemente y pacientemente, elegimos empanadas de carne, papa con queso y de chorizo con queso, se veían bien doraditas, quizás no traen abundante relleno como siempre espero que tenga una empanada, pero la verdad es que a mi me gusto su sabor desde la primera vez y por eso quería repetir, lo mejor de todo es que las acompañe con una malta bien fría, últimamente se ha vuelto mi bebida favorita.
Volvería nuevamente para comer en este lugar y es que para ser de paso, tiene un ambiente tranquilo y dispone de cómodas mesas y asientos, pudimos saciar nuestro apetito para volver nuevamente a nuestro viaje.
