Visit One of the Largest Artificial Lakes in Cianjur, Waduk Jangari Cirata

Hello everyone, how are you? I hope you're all well. Last June, I visited a lake, or in Indonesia, it's called the Cirata Jangari reservoir. The word "waduk" can be translated as "dam" or "lake" in Indonesian. Locals call it a reservoir.
This is a very enjoyable water tourism spot for families. It offers stunning natural scenery and culinary experiences. Here, along the shores of the lake, there are simple restaurants selling grilled fish, liwet rice, and typical West Javanese lalapan (vegetable salad). That's also what makes this place so attractive.

This place is a freshwater fish farm and also supplies freshwater fish to West Java. This place is very popular, and if you're curious, it's used to store water in anticipation of the dry season. In Indonesia, the dry season is quite severe, so this lake is used to store water for certain areas.
This reservoir is also formed from a pool of water covering an area of 62 square kilometers. This place also offers boat tours, allowing you to explore the area and see several freshwater fish farms. You can also watch beautiful sunsets and fish for yourself on the lake's edge.
And, if you're curious, these fish are kept by the staff and are a favorite among visitors who come to fish. Camping is also available around the lake. There's even a fairly large water park. So, there are plenty of other attractions here.
That's probably all I can tell you. Oh yes, this place, this river, this reservoir, this Bandungan, is filled with water hyacinth, and that's a complaint from visitors. This water hyacinth has been around for a long time. In fact, since I was a child, this place has been filled with water hyacinth.

Oh yes, I visited this place often as a child. What do you think of this place? It's actually very simple. I only ate here and didn't go on a tour of the lake because I was worried about the condition of the boat. That's all I can say. See you in the next story.
