‎Hi everyone, happy Wednesday!

‎Hope you're all having an amazing day!

‎As for me, I'm doing great. ☺️

‎Last Saturday was another busy day. And since we didn't have Wi-Fi at our place, my husband and I visit my parents' house more often.

‎Today, I decided to cook dinner for everyone.

‎Sometimes, it's my mom who cooks for us, other times my sister, and occasionally, I get to show off my cooking skills. 😅

‎So join me in the kitchen as I cook a mouth-watering "Sinigang na Baboy: Buto-Buto Edition" dish!

Ingredients:

‎• 1 kg pork feet
‎• 1 bunch kangkong
‎• 1 medium onion
‎• 2 pieces taro
‎• 1 packet sinigang mix
‎• salt and pepper to taste
‎• fish sauce

Preparation:

‎1. I started by sautéing the onions until they became translucent.

‎2. Then I added the pork feet, cooking them until they turned a brown color.

‎3. Next, I seasoned them with a pinch of salt, pepper, and fish sauce. Just enough to enhance the flavors.

‎4. After that, I poured in enough water and brought it to a boil.

‎5. Once boiling, I lowered the heat and let it simmer for about an hour. Until the pork was tender. When it was just the right tenderness, I threw in the taro pieces. (At that time, I forgot to take a photo 🙈) Finally, I added the sinigang mix, giving the dish a sour and savory flavor, and tossed in some fresh kangkong.

And there you have it, the "Sinigang na Baboy: Buto-Buto" is ready to be enjoyed!

Our family loves this dish so much that it's the usual dish we prepare.

‎And I've always been the one to cook it, simply because I know exactly how to prepare it the way we all love.

‎My Dad, especially, would look forward to this dish.

‎For its taste, it's a balance of sour, savory, and rich, with the taro adding a thickness to the broth.

‎So that's it! Hope you liked it! 🩷

‎Until my next dish...

Thanks for the visit! Have a lovely day. Buh-bye. 💗🌸
