How I’d Turn Money into Security for My Neighborhood

Good day, everyone. Welcome to the second week's prompt on the Hive Learner Community. Let's say the prompt seems rather interesting to write about: let's say I'm a rich man today, I have massive wealth beyond my means to explain, and I am in a community where crime goes down each day. What should be my priority, or what would I do?

At first I have option if leaving that community and go to another community which is safeguard but on second thoght if it a community I do love whole heartedly why wouldn't I spent money to protect that community from all those crimes if I don't want people to know my true nature I can just do it behind the scene fighting isn't really my style.

My first approach in protecting my community my own version of vigilante would be to provide security in my community when I mean security soldiers would be added at both front and back gates in every corner that leads to inside the community presently in Nigeria our situation has reached that extent of having soldiers all over the community even in our homes.

My second approach would installed full CCTV camera been put all around the community every corner a full working hour CCTV cameras in my community there will be a house where all is monitored 24/7 cause the situation of our country has gone to high alert those corrupt government just dont give a shit if you've been to government house even fly woudnt dare enter not to talk of dog or human being they know how to protect themselves only.

Even 24 hours of light would be my next step installing solar everywhere no darkness all around the street it would make it hard for crime to even happen in the community no more darkness I believe crimes happens when there is darkness so no one can come for aid if someone is robbed or kidnapped.

I also create a system where patrolling soldiers at both daytime and night not only just at every entrance that leads to the city but also patrol over the neighborhood keep watch of everything going on in the community cause we can't wait for these governments to do all these they have no time for us.

Another thing the author said can we rely on them or use them to our own advantage well if up to Me I would rather use my money and serve as a pressure point dont worry I will explained am a Igbo man not automatically but like to act as one I will use my money to do all these event though it expensive I dont care at the end I also receive profit from it in which way after installing all these at these critical hour people would want to move into a community as been safe as my community, For safety purpose cause even bandit fear go catch them and we have the news gossiper if things are well developed as this news will carry matter to the radio station before you know pressure would be on government the people would voice out saying insecurity and corruption this would push the government to act well on the safety of the citizen rather than just sitting down there and doing nothing.
