Good morning, @worldmappin community. Continuing with my trip to Uruguay last weekend, on the second day, Saturday 27 December, we got up early, had breakfast at the hotel and went to the historic centre where the tour bus departed. It's the typical bus found in many cities that tours the city, and you can get off at different stops and catch the next bus. Strategically, due to the distance between stops, we decided to get off at stop 3, where the shopping centre was (we didn't buy anything, but I needed some air conditioning and a bathroom), then we got off at stop 5, which had a beach. We stayed there for about two hours to enjoy the water, which is spectacular because it looks like the sea but without salt, as it is a river, the Río de La Plata. Then we continued to stop 7, the old bullring. Once built, it only had 32 events. Fortunately, no bull was ever killed, but a bullfighter did die. They refurbished half of the bullring, and now it is a cultural centre with exhibitions, a stage for concerts, and places to have a drink. We continued walking to stop 8, an old pier that is no longer in use, and stop 9, where the letters of the city are located. There we waited for the next bus to take us back to the centre. It was very nice.

We went to the hotel, swam in the pool, and then got ready to go out for dinner. Eating in restaurants in Argentina is expensive, just like on the Argentine coast, but it's cheaper at the supermarket, and the excursions weren't expensive. Tour bus: $10, bullring $5, same as the rest of the museums. Dinner that night cost us 1650 Uruguayan pesos, approximately $50. Well, that's all for today. Thank you for reading. See you on day 3.

Buen día comunidad de @worldmappin, continuando con mi viaje a Uruguay el pasado fin de semana, su segundo día, sábado 27 de diciembre nos levantamos temprano desayunamos en el hotel y fuimos hasta el casco historico donde salia el tour bus. Es el tipico bus que esta en muchas ciudades que va recorriendo la ciudad y uno se puede ir vajando en las distintas paradas y volver a tomar el bus siguiente. Estrategicamente por las distancia que había entre parada y parada decidimos bajar en la parada 3 dónde estaba el shopping (no compramos nada pero yo ya necesitaba un poco de aire acondicionado y un baño), luego bajamos en la parada 5 que tenía playa, alli nos quedamos cerca de 2 horas para disfrutar del agua que es espectacular porque parece mar pero sin sal porque es un rio el Río de La Plata. Luego seguimos hasta la parada 7 la vieja Plaza de Toros, una vez construida solo tuvo 32 eventos nunca se mató un toro por suerte, si murió un torero, reacondicionaron la mitad de la plaza, ahora es un centro cultural con exposiciones, escenario para recitales y lugares para tomar algo. Seguimos caminando hasta la parada 8 un antiguo muelle que ya no sirve y la parada 9 dónde están las letras de la ciudad. Ahí esperamos el siguiente bus que nos llevo de regreso al centro, estuvo muy lindo.

Nos fuimos al hotel, nadamos en la piscina y luego nos preparamos para salir a cenar. Comer en restaurantes a la moneda argentina es caro igual como en la costa Argentina, si es mas barato en el supermercado y las escursiones no me resultaron caras. Tour bus: 10 dólares, Plaza de toros 5 dólares igual el resto de los museos. La cena esa noche nos salió 1650 pesos uruguayos aproximadamente 50 dolares.
