Some say Tasoshi Drakamoto once trained with the Dragonsguard. Others claim she is a descendant of Shiimya Khapri, the first suam emperor, or that she is not Gloridax at all. No one knows for certain—not her lineage, her age, nor even if Tasoshi Drakamoto is her real name. Her past is a shadow, her face rarely seen, and her methods impossible to trace.

How's it going, fellow Splinterlands summoners? This week's community challenge is to talk about the new Conclave Arcana Promo Epic 🔥 Fire Card, Tasosohi Drakamoto, and I'll get to her eventually, but a lot is going on in the Splinterverse, I wanna talk about first.

⚔️Survival Mode⚔️

There are plenty of different game modes to keep you busy in Splinterlands these days. If you're new, I'd recommend Campaign Mode. It teaches how to play, awards you some Glint, and even gives you some cool-looking Soulbound cards.

The Modern League used to be where I kicked ass. I was a consistent 💎 Diamond and sometimes 🏆 Champion-level player with my mostly MAX-level Chaos Legion deck, but now I'm relying on my reward cards and slowly getting my cheap Rebellion and Conclave Arcana cards up to level 4. I'll sometimes rent a MAX-level dragon archon and smash some foos with my MAX-level reward cards. Still, it doesn't seem like the dragon splinter is available that often, and I need to save up some DEC to get all my upcoming 🥒 promo cards, so I'm just getting by in the Gold League for now.

I use the Archmage bot to play in the Wild League every hour, so there's not much to talk about there except that I'm happy with the service and sleep well at night knowing my deck is earning Glint and SPS while I sleep. I'm often slaughtered whenever I play in Tournaments and forget to enter, so I've nothing to say about them either. I am still showing up for most of my Guild Brawl battles because I don't want to let my team down, but I'm nowhere near getting any of my Gladius cards to MAX level.

And then there's Survival Mode. It took me about a month to go through all of my cards, sorting out which ones I needed and which ones could take the fall and become unplayable when they die and enter cooldown. I like that Survival Mode doesn't use up energy, so I'll let the Archmage bot play while it recharges for a day or two, but now I'm stuck at the very bottom of Bronze III. Maybe I entered too early in the season or maybe there's just too many OGs out there with too many cards on their hands or maybe my leftover cards just suck. Oh well, at least my old cards, which needed a dust off and haven't seen battle for months, and some for years, have something to do now. How about you? Have you had better luck in Survival Mode since it came back?

💰RapidSPS💰

🥒Yaba's Pickle🥒 is about ready to be purchased at the shop, but you can only buy one copy per 1,000 SPS you had staked on the snapshot a few days ago. I had 37,000 SPS staked, so I'll be able to buy 37 copies at 150 DEC each, so I'll need to come up with over 5,000 DEC in a few days.

Luckily, I've just found out about

. I saw them say something about getting your battle-earned SPS, which usually goes straight into staked, if you delegate your rewards to them, so I gave it a try. I made a mistake and accidentally delegated 3,333 SPS directly to their account, which is not the way it works, but they were cool when I reached out to them on Discord, and they told me it must be rewards that are delegated to them. They'll charge a 4% fee, but you'll get your battle rewards daily rather than having to wait forever to unstake them. I'll most likely have to unstake some DEC from my land to make it, but I'll convert my daily earned SPS back into staked DEC until my Land is at 100% efficiency again. I'm pretty disappointed with Land, but at least it forces me to have around $50 of liquid crypto all the time, which has come in handy a few times, like when the Conclave Arcana presale started. I'd like to be able to produce Midnight Potions, but it will take me another 6 months to earn enough Research, which is hard to mine, so I've pretty much given up on Land and think of it more like a liquid piggy bank than anything else. Honestly, it would be better to just stake HBD to your Hive account and earn the interest than messing around with Land, but where's the fun in that, right?

📱The App📱

One more thing I'd like to share with you today, before we get to the new promo card, is that the Splinterlands app is now available on the Google Play Store. It's a smooth-looking app. It works better than what you get out of a mobile browser or the Keychain app, and has over 5,000 downloads with mostly five-star reviews, only two 4-star, and zero one and two-star or three-star reviews, which shows how much work the team put into it compared to the knuckleheads who did the previous piece of shit app we had. I really like it. It's made my gaming experience better, so I've given it 5 stars as well, but it's still not perfect.

I thought the point of having an app was to make it NOT feel like you're using a mobile browser, so I really hate it when it refreshes when all I wanted to do was scroll back up. In fact, I hate that feature on all apps. Who the hell decided that scrolling back up on a phone meant you wanted a refresh? It's annoying, no matter what app it is! I also don't like the fact that the card art data isn't stored locally in the game because I have poor mobile internet where I live, sometimes and often lose battles because the card art doesn't load in time, or it loads the wrong art for the wrong cards, which makes it even more confusing. Each card's art wouldn't take up much storage on the phone so I don't know why it isn't stored locally to make it faster. I've mentioned this before in Discord, and someone responded that they agreed and would take it to the team, so hopefully they change it, cause I doubt I'm the only player who has this problem.

Now let's get to the new card, 🔥Tasoshi Drakamoto🔥. It's a dope-looking card that will come in handy during high-mana even only battles and in battles that let you respawn or give everyone lots of life, but I doubt my level one copy will get used much by either myself or the bot due to its high mana cost and weak health. My bot hasn't found a use for her yet, and I tried using her in a few battles just to post about it here, but I got smacked down, so this is a niche card, but it sure looks cool. It's too expensive to level up to level 3 or even MAX for me, but I do like the new Spite ability that lets you take one more guaranteed strike when the card dies. This just made resurrection cards way more powerful, and it's an ability I'd like to add to my deck, but I'll wait till something cheaper than two benjamins or eight mana comes along.
