Coastal Escapades: An Unforgettable Day Tour with Snorkeling Thrills on Elnido Palawan

This is our experience on our 2nd day island hopping on the island. This time we took a different tour and honestly it was better than our first day
One of the highlights of this tour is the Cadlao Lagoon (see top) and the snorkeling area
The tour is compose of 5 different locations and the cost is 1200 php or $22 per head
- Cadlao lagoon
- Hidden Beach
- Helicopter island
- Secret beach
- Talisay beach
Our first stop is Helicopter island, it is called like that because from afar, the island itself looks like a helicopter. This is where you can swim and take a snorkel. The water here is crystal blue and dont worry if you dont know how to swim you will be drag to the shore by the guides.
My wife enjoying being drag to the seashore
We did not spend more time on this island because its very hot but we did swim for almost 30 mins before we proceed to our next destination
Our next stop is Cadlao lagoon, the water here is very cold and the lagoon is surrounded by a thick vegetation, luckily too it was cloudy when we get here so everything is perfect
You can rent a kayak to explore the area too
After the lagoon, we proceed to have our lunch on Talisay beach. The lunch again is free and part of the tour.
The water is more clearer more turquoise and you can snorkel beside the boat. Just be careful since there are some sea urchins nearby

My wife finally learning how to swim with life jacket! :D
Me, checking if she wont cry if I move away lol (Im proud of her though hehe)
Underwater selfie :D
It was a different experience compare to our snorkeling on Bohol but overall it was enjoyable and
everything is perfect.
After the snorkeling, we then proceed to the secret beach.
To get to this secret beach, you need to swim on this little opening and here is my wife again being drag again :D
it was like a small beach hidden among the big cliff and you can try this shot by doing a panorama with your camera.
There is not much room on the enclosed beach but during high tide, the entrance to this area is not visible. Its very quite here and it looks like you have a private beach for yourself
After the secret beach, we then proceed to our last destination, the hidden beach.
This beach is hidden behind big rocks and cliffs, though compare to the secret beach, the entrance here is wide and the beach is larger. During high tide too, there are sharks and clown fish on this area, unfortunately, we arrive here during low tide
The huge cliffs here too are coral reefs in the past
My wife enjoying the big rocks/cliffs on this beach
This small opening that leads to the ocean, you can see the dried leaves suggesting the water would reach the seashore.
That concludes our 2nd day on Palawan and so far it was the best. You can read the first part of my travel on my personal page
