Zoning Out [on Stormy Days]

Hello, weekend!

It doesn't feel like it, though. We have just been cooped up indoors with nothing much to do but binge-watch, and what else. Sssh... Why do I feel like I'm complaining when, even on sunny days, we were doing the same things? LOL!

Joke aside, it turned out that an LPA intensified into a tropical storm, hence the incessant rains. It has been wet here for four days straight, and the atmosphere is not clearing up. All is well, thankfully, except that in some places, landslides and flooding have affected people, so we are hoping the weather improves sooner.

Well, we have just been trying to zone out from all the nuisances of the season. We intentionally disconnect and let our minds wander, daydream, and drift into unknown territories, until we fall asleep. I'm beginning to like and enjoy it, as the exercise allows me to come back well-rested and with a better perspective on things.

We cannot space out totally, though. We are still attentive to the LilGuy, who has been so moody lately. He's like a kid throwing a tantrum because he cannot go outside. Thank goodness he was calmer after a good warm bath earlier in the day.

My older sister recently adopted a puppy, and was excited, saying it feels like they have a sweet little toddler in their house, which I can relate to, having Yongi. I'm quite sure she doesn't have any regrets taking one, even if her original plan was to do it after she retires from her 9-5 (who knows when, because she loves her job).

Anyway, it's Saturday, and it's goaling time, just like we have been doing for 26 weeks (27th now). We have only two targets for the year: save HBD and stack Sats.

We had 1693 HBD and 185594 Sats. Today, they are 1708 and 187522, recording an increase of 15 HBD and 1928 Sats, respectively. Not very significant amounts, but still growth in my book. Slow or small steps, and no pressure. I like it... A lot!
