A Bit of Gloom

It's a gloomy Thursday, just the weather anyway. Mister Sun didn't show up since morning, and it seems there will be another downpour anytime soon. But it's okay. Yesterday's rain was nice and cool, and I was sure many were happy and thankful about it (we certainly are), as it had been so dry in the past days.

We were up in the mountains (supposed to visit a plot of agricultural land we were planning to acquire) when the heavy rainfall came, so we got stuck inside the car. We left the place without checking it out after waiting for the rain to stop for an hour, but it didn't.

But yes, the picture below is how it was before the heavy rain. The clouds are even darker today, so the probability of a rainfall is quite high.

Meanwhile, my Lil Guy has not been himself all morning. He refused to eat, so I thought he didn't like his food. I made him his favorite tuna, but he didn't touch it, which was unusual. I thought he was exhausted from yesterday's wee adventure. I did find out he had an upset stomach (I heard it growl many times), maybe because he hadn't had anything while we were out.

He doesn't want to be cuddled, nor to be touched. It's worrying. A message to the vet made me realize we haven't given him his deworming medication, which is supposed to be administered every 3 months. It's been almost 5 months since his last take. Guilty me!😩

I have just given him his dose, and I hope he will feel better and eat something. Otherwise, we'll have to take a trip to the vet's clinic tomorrow, or if the hubby comes home early today.

Until then, we will be indoors and have a quiet afternoon.
