Hello photography lovers,

Last week we went up to the Alpujarra mountains to meet some people. It is the peak of autumn so I took the opportunity to discover some places around the town we went to. I didnt shot many autumn pictures yet this season.

This is the village of Castaras, one if the many characteristics white villages in the Alpujarra mountains. It was a very sunny day and the autumn colors were still very good. There were no big winterstorms in this region yet, so most of the colorfull leaves were still on the trees.

A beautiful villages in the mountains inbetween all te colorfull trees.

The village is very small. Two ore three streets and a main square with a church.

The town also has a nice fountain. I did not drink from it because I couldn't tell if it was mountain water or not. Many towns have a public water source ore spring were you can get free water. It could have be one like this. I didnt dare to drink out of it. I didnt want to ruine my day.

There were a lot of street cats haning around here. People were feeding them but many still looked horrible. For sure that there are a lot of cat very sick. Very sad to see them. Nextime we will go up here we are taking a lot of vat food with us.

Around the village there are many almondtree orchards. They are very photogenic againste the mountains in the back. And of course, they tast very good directly from the trees.

We want to buy a cortijo with a lot of almondtrees to. I want to make so many things out of them.
