Look the Lunar Eclipse! Oh it is just smoke.

  Blood Moon is usually the other name for the lunar eclipse. That happens because our planet stays between the Sun and the Moon, which creates a shadow on our beloved Moon. The reduced light brings a more orange aspect close to red. So it is a nice moment to stare at the moon, and with reduced brightness, we can see more details in its craters. Last night we had the lunar eclipse been seen in its peak in eastern continents, such as Australia, Asia, Africa and Europe. You can find beautiful pictures online about it. But wait, some users in North America also took a picture of the Blood Moon?
  At least 3 posts in my city's Facebook group showed an orange/red moon picture and people were happy to take these images, so were we under the eclipse here as well? No we weren't. The pictures show something interesting that in a real eclipse we don't see, despite of the colour, we still see lots of brightness coming from the moon. The pictures are different and have some value as showing the Moon in a different way that We don't spot her often. But the reality is the haze produced by wild fires that creates this effect.
  I took a picture of the Sun last week, which was also an interesting view, despite the reason that "beauty" wasn't so beautiful. Wildfires have been affecting Canadians throughout the summer; by "luck," here in Southern Alberta, we've been hit only at the beginning of September. Last week the winds were bringing the smoke from the North, from the Territories. And now the winds are bringing some smoke from the wildfires from the British Columbia. Despite of the beautiful pictures, our air quality is very low at the moment. The Sun looks very weak and in a different colour.
  People got hyped since they heard about the Lunar eclipse in some regions of the planet, and when they saw the beautiful reddish moon in their window, they thought they were also experiencing that moment. But the truth is that we always need to check if it is what it looks like. A while ago I was also deceived by a rocket launch, thinking that was an rare Aurora event. In the end was just a new satellite being launched and nothing related to the Aurora Bureau which was occurring at the same time.

  Lua de Sangue é geralmente o outro nome para o eclipse lunar. Isso acontece porque nosso planeta fica entre o Sol e a Lua, o que cria uma sombra sobre a nossa amada Lua.   Pelo menos três posts no grupo do Facebook da minha cidade mostraram uma foto da Lua laranja/vermelha e as pessoas ficaram felizes em tirar essas fotos, então nós também estávamos sob o eclipse? Não, não estávamos. As fotos mostram algo interessante que, em um eclipse real, não vemos, apesar da cor, ainda vemos muito brilho vindo da Lua. As fotos são diferentes e têm algum valor por mostrar a Lua de uma maneira diferente que não a vemos com frequência. Mas a realidade é a névoa produzida por incêndios florestais que cria esse efeito.
  Tirei uma foto do Sol na semana passada, que também foi uma vista interessante, apesar do motivo de a "beleza" não ser tão bonita. Incêndios florestais têm afetado os canadenses durante todo o verão; por "sorte", aqui no sul de Alberta, fomos atingidos apenas no início de setembro. Na semana passada, os ventos traziam a fumaça do Norte, dos Territórios. E agora os ventos trazem um pouco da fumaça dos incêndios florestais da Colúmbia Britânica. Apesar das belas fotos, a qualidade do ar está muito baixa no momento. O Sol parece muito fraco e com uma cor diferente.
  As pessoas ficaram animadas ao ouvirem falar do eclipse lunar em algumas regiões do planeta e, quando viram a linda lua avermelhada em suas janelas, pensaram que também estavam vivenciando aquele momento. Mas a verdade é que sempre precisamos verificar se é o que parece. Há algum tempo, também fui enganado por um lançamento de foguete, pensando que era um evento raro da Aurora. No fim das contas, era apenas um novo satélite sendo lançado e nada relacionado ao Aurora Bureau, que estava ocorrendo ao mesmo tempo.
