‎One of the things that hinder a lot of christians today; especially the youths, is distractions. Distractions can come in various ways. But the end of them is to make us to shift our focus on what matters.

‎‭John 9:4 KJV‬
‎I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.

‎Setting our priorities right helps us a lot. People priorities may differ. When we have our priorities set up already when people try to entice us with things that they derive pleasure in and we compare it with things that are important to us and see that they are not in synchronous, what we do is opt out from it.

‎The Bible said evil communication corrupts good manners. The people we hang around more often with can impact us positively or the other way around depending on the manner of the person. We should not for any reason to feel pressured by the way of life like other people.

‎The people we sometimes feel pressured about will eventually go someday, But God will always remain, and our desire is to do that which he alone desires and putting aside everything contrary. Is not everything we term to be okay simply because other people are doing it. The only thing that is right is what is considered right in the sight of God and not in the sight of men.
