Un mundo de promesas en su palabra. || A world of promises in His word.

From the beginning, God has desired only good for us, and that is why He has left us His word, full of the most formidable promises that He promises to fulfill.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves his child as well. 2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not burdensome. 4 For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. 5 Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

6 This is Jesus Christ, who came by water and blood—not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies; For the Spirit is the truth. 7 For there are three that testify in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. 8 And there are three that testify on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree. 9 If we receive human testimony, God's testimony is greater, for it is the testimony God has given about his Son. 10 Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. 11 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.

1 John 5:1-13

God has shown us His mercy and grace from the beginning and desires only good for us. He shows us that through Jesus Christ we have eternal life, and for this reason, He has written everything in detail in His Word so that we may be certain that this will be so.

9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might live through him.

1 John 4:9

The first thing we must keep in mind to strengthen our assurance of salvation, which is in Christ Jesus, is the love of our God the Father, who sent His Son on the cross to redeem us from death and thus, through this, give us eternal life forever.

10 who has delivered us from such a deadly peril, and will deliver us again. On him we have put our hope that he will continue to deliver us.

2 Corinthians 1:10

We must also always remember that Jesus Christ never broke God's law, never sinned, and this means that he paid the price as if he had sinned. Therefore, we understand that this is what we deserved, taking our place for what we could never achieve through our own merits. Jesus himself gave himself as a ransom for us to secure our eternal life.

28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.

John 10:28

Is there anything more powerful than this? Jesus Christ gives us assurance regarding his promises that all those who receive him as Savior will be with him forever, for all eternity. Through this passage, we read that He promised we would never be separated from Him, and even more powerful, that no one will ever be able to snatch us from His hand where we find complete security.

21 Now it is God who makes both us and you stand firm in Christ. He anointed us, 22 set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22

Are we looking for more assurances? We can also find that a very powerful guarantee is that we have the Holy Spirit in our lives, and He is that living certificate that we now belong to the Lord and have a future here on earth and for eternity in which we can begin to live life to the full.

What remains for us? After contemplating a small percentage of the promises that God has prepared for us, we have nothing left to do but be grateful for the salvation we have received and because His word is full of promises so that we can live a life with complete assurance that in Christ we find eternity and grace at every moment.

Todo aquel que cree que Jesús es el Cristo, es nacido de Dios; y todo aquel que ama al que engendró, ama también al que ha sido engendrado por él. 2 En esto conocemos que amamos a los hijos de Dios, cuando amamos a Dios, y guardamos sus mandamientos. 3 Pues este es el amor a Dios, que guardemos sus mandamientos; y sus mandamientos no son gravosos. 4 Porque todo lo que es nacido de Dios vence al mundo; y esta es la victoria que ha vencido al mundo, nuestra fe. 5 ¿Quién es el que vence al mundo, sino el que cree que Jesús es el Hijo de Dios?
6 Este es Jesucristo, que vino mediante agua y sangre; no mediante agua solamente, sino mediante agua y sangre. Y el Espíritu es el que da testimonio; porque el Espíritu es la verdad. 7 Porque tres son los que dan testimonio en el cielo: el Padre, el Verbo y el Espíritu Santo; y estos tres son uno. 8 Y tres son los que dan testimonio en la tierra: el Espíritu, el agua y la sangre; y estos tres concuerdan. 9 Si recibimos el testimonio de los hombres, mayor es el testimonio de Dios; porque este es el testimonio con que Dios ha testificado acerca de su Hijo. 10 El que cree en el Hijo de Dios, tiene el testimonio en sí mismo; el que no cree a Dios, le ha hecho mentiroso, porque no ha creído en el testimonio que Dios ha dado acerca de su Hijo. 11 Y este es el testimonio: que Dios nos ha dado vida eterna; y esta vida está en su Hijo. 12 El que tiene al Hijo, tiene la vida; el que no tiene al Hijo de Dios no tiene la vida.
13 Estas cosas os he escrito a vosotros que creéis en el nombre del Hijo de Dios, para que sepáis que tenéis vida eterna, y para que creáis en el nombre del Hijo de Dios.

1 Juan 5:1-13

Dios desde el principio nos muestra su misericordia y su gracia y desea para nosotros solamente el bien, nos muestra que a través de Jesucristo tenemos vida eterna y para eso nos ha dejado escrito en la palabra detalladamente todo para que estemos seguros de que así será.

9 En esto se mostró el amor de Dios para con nosotros, en que Dios envió a su Hijo unigénito al mundo, para que vivamos por él.

1 Juan 4:9

Lo primero que debemos tener en cuenta para reforzar nuestra seguridad de la salvación que es en Cristo Jesús, es el amor de nuestro Dios padre quien ha enviado a su hijo en la cruz para redimirnos de la muerte y así a través de ello darnos vida eterna para siempre.

10 el cual nos libró, y nos libra, y en quien esperamos que aún nos librará, de tan gran muerte;

2 Corintios 1:10

También debemos llevar siempre presente que Jesucristo en ningún momento infringió la ley de Dios, en ningún momento pecó y esto quiere decir que él pagó el precio como si fuese que pecó y por eso entendemos que esto es lo que nosotros merecíamos tomando así nuestro lugar por lo que nosotros jamás podríamos conseguir por nuestros propios méritos. Jesús mismo se dio en rescate por nosotros para asegurar nuestra vida eterna.

28 y yo les doy vida eterna; y no perecerán jamás, ni nadie las arrebatará de mi mano.

Juan 10:28

¿Acaso hay algo más poderoso que esto? Jesucristo nos da seguridad en cuanto a sus promesas de qué todos aquellos que los reciben como salvador estarán junto con él para siempre por la eternidad. A través de esta porción leemos que prometió que jamás seríamos apartado de y más poderoso aún, que nadie jamás podrá arrebatarnos de su mano donde hayamos plena seguridad.

21 Y el que nos confirma con vosotros en Cristo, y el que nos ungió, es Dios, 22 el cual también nos ha sellado, y nos ha dado las arras del Espíritu en nuestros corazones.

2 Corintios 1:21-22

¿Buscamos más garantías? También podemos encontrar que una garantía muy poderosa es que tenemos al espíritu Santo en nuestras vidas y él es ese certificado vivo de qué ahora pertenecemos al señor y tenemos un futuro aquí en la tierra y por la eternidad en el cual podemos comenzar a vivir en plenitud.

¿Que nos queda nosotros?, Después de contemplar un pequeño porcentaje de las promesas que Dios ha preparado para nosotros, no tenemos más que ser agradecidos por la salvación que hemos recibido y por que su palabra está llena de promesas para que nosotros podamos vivir una vida con total seguridad en que en Cristo hayamos la eternidad y la gracia a cada instante.
