Tenemos total seguridad en Cristo || We have complete confidence in Christ.

We all make mistakes, and although we are human beings prone to them and completely infallible, this in no way jeopardizes our salvation because it is not our works that make us righteous before God.

13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses, 14 having canceled the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.

Colossians 2:13-14

If you have ever doubted your eternal security (which I believe has happened to you, as it has to me, on different occasions), we must revisit the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and remember what happened on the cross so that we may fully trust in him for what he won for us once and for all. As we incorporate the Word of God, our faith develops, and we become certain of how secure we are in him.

And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,

Ephesians 2:1

But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation. 12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption. 13 For if the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean, sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean, 14 how much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!

Hebrews 9:11-14

Before we knew the Lord Jesus Christ, we were immersed in a spiritual problem that encompasses all of humanity. All human beings were born with a sinful nature, and according to God's Word, this indicates that we were spiritually dead. This means that nothing we can do in our own strength can change our reality, and that is why God, in His grace, has provided the solution for us and for all who choose to accept it. He has provided the solution through His Son, Jesus Christ.

24 “Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.”

John 5:24

God is very clear in His Word: from the day we decided to trust in Jesus Christ, we were passed from death to life, and in that act, we received a new nature that needs to grow and develop. We have been adopted into God's family, and this gift has given us life, and life in abundance, as well as an eternal future with God forever. From now on, we have a new standing before God, and this is not altered by what we do or fail to do because God bases his judgment solely on the redemptive act of the Lord Jesus Christ.

We are aware that our thoughts and behavior are never completely perfect or holy. We are not always reflecting the new nature we have received from Jesus Christ, since we make conscious and unconscious mistakes. But understanding that none of this can alter our salvation, we constantly seek to do good, to follow the word that was laid out for us through the Bible. The important thing here is that we must remember that our actions do not define the work of the Lord Jesus Christ for us on the cross. It is He who made a sacrifice that has marked a before and after for all humanity. You can do nothing to replace the work of Jesus and the new birth that comes through faith in Him.

Todos cometemos errores y aunque somos seres humanos expuesto a ellos y totalmente infalible, pero esto en ninguna manera pone en peligro nuestra salvación porque no son nuestras obras lo que nos hace justos delante de Dios.

13 Y a vosotros, estando muertos en pecados y en la incircuncisión de vuestra carne, os dio vida juntamente con él, perdonándoos todos los pecados, 14 anulando el acta de los decretos que había contra nosotros, que nos era contraria, quitándola de en medio y clavándola en la cruz,

Colosenses 2:13-14

Si alguna vez has dudado de tu seguridad eterna (que creo que te ha sucedido al igual que a mí en diferentes ocasiones) debemos rever el sacrificio de Jesucristo y recordar lo que ha sucedido en la cruz para que confiemos plenamente en él por lo que ha ganado para nosotros una vez y para siempre, la palabra de Dios a medida que la incorporamos se desarrolla nuestra fe y la certeza en cuán seguro estamos en el.

Y él os dio vida a vosotros, cuando estabais muertos en vuestros delitos y pecados,

Efesios 2:1

Pero estando ya presente Cristo, sumo sacerdote de los bienes venideros, por el más amplio y más perfecto tabernáculo, no hecho de manos, es decir, no de esta creación, 12 y no por sangre de machos cabríos ni de becerros, sino por su propia sangre, entró una vez para siempre en el Lugar Santísimo, habiendo obtenido eterna redención. 13 Porque si la sangre de los toros y de los machos cabríos, y las cenizas de la becerra rociadas a los inmundos, santifican para la purificación de la carne, 14 ¿cuánto más la sangre de Cristo, el cual mediante el Espíritu eterno se ofreció a sí mismo sin mancha a Dios, limpiará vuestras conciencias de obras muertas para que sirváis al Dios vivo?

Hebreos 9:11-14

Antes de que conociéramos al señor Jesucristo estamos sumidos en un problema espiritual que abarca a toda la humanidad, todos los seres humanos hemos nacido bajo una naturaleza pecaminosa y esto conforme a la palabra de Dios nos indica que estábamos espiritualmente muertos. Esto significa que nada que podamos hacer con nuestra propia fuerza puede cambiar nuestra realidad y es por eso que Dios en su gracia ha provisto la solución para nosotros y para todo lo que decidan aceptar, ha provisto la solución a través de su hijo Jesucristo.

24 De cierto, de cierto os digo: El que oye mi palabra, y cree al que me envió, tiene vida eterna; y no vendrá a condenación, mas ha pasado de muerte a vida.

Juan 5:24

Dios es muy claro en su palabra, desde el día que hemos decidido confiar en Jesucristo hemos sido pasados de la muerte a la vida y en ese acto hemos recibido una nueva naturaleza que necesita crecer y desarrollarse. Hemos sido adoptados en la familia de Dios y este regalo nos ha dado vida y vida en abundancia, también un futuro eterno con Dios para siempre. Desde ahora tenemos una nueva posición delante de Dios y esta no es alterada por lo que hagamos o dejemos de hacer porque Dios se basa sólo en el acto redentor del señor Jesucristo.

Somos conscientes que nuestros pensamientos y nuestro comportamiento nunca es completamente perfecto ni Santo, no siempre estamos reflejando esa nueva naturaleza que hemos recibido de Jesucristo ya que cometemos errores conscientes e inconscientes, pero entendiendo que nada de esto puede alterar nuestra salvación, constantemente buscamos hacer el bien, seguir la palabra que fue trazado para nosotros a través de la biblia. Acá lo importante es que debemos recordar que nuestras acciones no definen la obra del señor Jesucristo por nosotros así en la cruz, es él quien ha hecho un sacrificio que ha definido un antes y un después en toda la humanidad, nada puedes hacer la obra de Jesús y otro nuevo nacimiento que has ido por la fe en él.

37 Todo lo que el Padre me da, vendrá a mí; y al que a mí viene, no le echo fuera.
