Perseverar es clave! IOI Perseverance is key!

God has promised to be with us, and that means that when we go through different trials, it is for our good. We must understand that we can face them with peace and joy, which is supernatural because we are in God's hands.
2 My brothers and sisters, consider it pure joy whenever you face trials of many kinds, 3 because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. 4 Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.
James 1:2-4
Surely, like me, at some point in your life you have wondered why God allows his children to suffer. This can sometimes be disorienting, as it seems that God remains silent while we suffer and find no way out or answers.
But if there is a place where we can find a way out, and where we find the answer, it is in the Word of God. Perhaps what we are sharing today may seem very difficult, or perhaps almost impossible, to accept as an answer because we generally don't find joy in the midst of trials. Having peace and joy in the midst of trials requires a paradigm shift, a change of perspective. It means seeing from God's perspective, understanding that we are rooted in Him, that He protects us in every situation we face, and that everything that happens in our lives is solely for our good and growth. Or we can simply choose to stagnate and sink.
In this passage, James isn't referring to an emotion that is almost sporadic, that ends very quickly. Here, James speaks of a peace and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, knowing that everything He does is to bless us. When we speak of joy in trials, it doesn't mean being happy about the trial itself, because I don't think anyone would be. It means recognizing that it is God who allows it so that we can move to the next level, so that we can be blessed. With this attitude, we go through the trials and difficulties that arise so that we can overcome them, understanding that this is the ultimate goal.

3 Not only that, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; 4 perseverance, character; and character, hope. 5 And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us.
Romans 5:3-5
At times like these, the first thing that comes to mind is an endless number of reasons to justify the situation. But these kinds of thoughts are negative. When we are instructed and nourished by the Word of God and understand that the worst difficulties are only temporary and that what comes next is for our good, we are learning to see the positive side, understanding what all of this has to offer us. This helps us to persevere without losing sight of the hope and strength we can obtain through the Word of God. We must have complete certainty that God uses every situation only for our good, and there is no reason to be anxious or afraid.
Dios ha prometido que estará con nosotros y eso significa que cuando atravesamos diferentes pruebas es para nuestro bien, debemos entender que podemos enfrentarlo con paz y con gozo que es sobrenatural porque estamos de la mano de Dios.
2 Hermanos míos, tened por sumo gozo cuando os halléis en diversas pruebas, 3 sabiendo que la prueba de vuestra fe produce paciencia. 4 Mas tenga la paciencia su obra completa, para que seáis perfectos y cabales, sin que os falte cosa alguna.
Santiago 1:2-4
Seguramente que el igual que yo en algún momento de tu vida te has preguntado por qué razón Dios permite que sus hijos pasen por sufrimientos. Esto en algún momento puede desorientarnos ya que parece que Dios se queda en silencio mientras nosotros sufrimos y no encontramos salida o no encontramos respuesta.
Pero si hay un lugar donde podemos encontrar la salida y es cuando encontramos la respuesta es la palabra de Dios. Quizás lo que estamos compartiendo hoy puede parecer muy difícil o quizás casi imposible de aceptar como una respuesta porque en medio de las pruebas generalmente no nos gozamos. Tener paz y tener gozo en medio de la prueba requiere un cambio de paradigma o cambio de perspectiva, es ver desde la perspectiva de Dios, entender que estamos arraigados en él, él nos protege en cualquier situación que trabajemos y todo lo que acontece en nuestra vida es solamente para nuestro bien y crecimiento, O podemos optar simplemente por estancarnos y hundirnos.
Santiago en este pasaje no se refiere a una emoción que es casi esporádica, que termina muy rápidamente, aquí Santiago habla de una paz y una confianza en el señor Jesucristo en que todo lo que él hace lo hace para bendecirnos. Cuando hablamos de gozo en las pruebas no significa estar felices por la prueba, porque creo que nadie lo estaría, es reconocer que es Dios quien permite para que nosotros pasemos al siguiente nivel, para que seamos bendecidos y con esta actitud atravesamos las pruebas y las dificultades que se presentan para que la superemos entendiendo que ese es el objetivo.
3 Y no solo esto, sino que también nos gloriamos en las tribulaciones, sabiendo que la tribulación produce paciencia; 4 y la paciencia, prueba; y la prueba, esperanza; 5 y la esperanza no avergüenza; porque el amor de Dios ha sido derramado en nuestros corazones por el Espíritu Santo que nos fue dado.
Romanos 5:3-5
En estos momentos lo primero que viene nuestra mente es una cantidad infinita de razones para justificar la situación, pero estas razones por estos tipos de pensamientos son negativos, cuando instruidos y alimentados por la palabra de Dios entendemos que las peores dificultades son solamente algo pasajero y que lo que viene después es para nuestro bien, estamos aprendiendo a ver el lado positivo, en sentido que tiene todo esto para nosotros. Esto nos ayuda a ser perseverantes sin desprendernos de la esperanza y la fortaleza que podemos obtener por medio de la palabra de Dios. Debemos tener total certeza en que Dios usa cada situación solamente para nuestro bien y no existe motivo para angustiarnos o tener miedo.
