Greetings, Fabulous Felines and Hoomans of Hivelandia and surrounding communities!

We have made it to the final weekend of the month of May, and therewith to the final Caturday of May!

Hopefully you are having a good weekend so far, and getting to spend time with your Feline friends! Because... after all... that's what Caturday is all about!

Today has mostly been an "inside day" around here because we have had some uncharacteristically cold, windy and rainy weather roll though... so it's just about staying cozy, warm and snuggled in!

What are YOU looking at?

On the whole, May was a challnging month around here.

The Mom-Hooman ended up spending a lot of time out-of-town helping the Daughter-Hooman after the birth of her son... who had to spend the first three weeks of his life in the NICU. He's doing better now and is home, but it was quite stressful for everyone.

Meanwhile, the Hoomans' gardening work was slowed down by cold and rainy weather, which made them somewhat unhappy.

In other news, we have celebrated Shangri and Nala's 1st birthday!

As best we could figure, they were born around Memorial Day last year, in order to be about 3 1/2 months old when we adiopted them.

We are very happy that they have become part of our household!

Old Smudge continues to enjoy life as a senior citizen kitty. At age 20 and change she is almost entirely blind, so she keeps to certain parts of the house she is generally familiar with.

All said, she is in very good health even though she is definitely not as mobile as she once was.

I suppose it wasn't exactly a great month for crypto... unless your thing is Bitcoin. Not much of a month for Hive, sadly. Maybe June will be better.
