Is your diet plan not giving you sufficient and magical results?
So here is the ketogenic diet, a contemporary phrase in the world of diet primarily for weight loss, which is commonly known as a low carb diet. In this diet plan you are allowed to fearlessly eat all your favourite fatty foods, don't worry you will not suffer from starvation as in other plans, as I'm following this plan it kicks start my energy.
A few months ago I was also looking for a plan which gives me maximum results in a short period, then my buddy suggested her secret magical diet.
Let me explain what kind of it is..
How it works
This plan works by reducing the body's carbohydrates to zero as a result the body starts using fats as a source of energy, this process of converting the fats into energy is called ketosis. Which helps in reducing weight by using the body deposited fats.
The intake includes a high amount of fats so the body fats are used for breaking down its molecules.
In this state, the body is in ketosis for which the body's main source of energy is fat, not carbohydrates.
There are many types of keto diet plans but the main point in this diet is to cut off carbohydrates intake so the body starts using the complex fat molecules for energy.
The most common classic method of this diet is 80%fats, 5 to 10% protein, 5% carbohydrates, this method is most typically used for weight loss, to maintain an ideal weight, and for muscular performance.
Benefits of a keto diet
There are many benefits of the keto diet like its results in blood glucose level, so for diabetes, it is good to control their insulin level (studies shows that it is more effective in diabetes type2 ).
Reduce weight by increasing metabolic system and reduce appetite level. Its diet includes many items which give a full feeling to a person.
By reducing the carbohydrates intake helps in clearing the skin-acne free as it alters the body sugar level as outcome gives a positive effect on the skin.

What to eat
Many items are low in carbs like non-starchy vegetables such as cauliflower, cabbage, broccoli, mushrooms, eggs, cheese, beef, poultry, fish.
In dry fruits almonds, pistachios, pumpkin seeds, coconut, sunflower seeds. At the start, you can take one or two walnuts to fulfil your appetite level
For cooking, you can use olive oil, coconut oil, butter, and other plant-based oils. most people recommend using olive oil.
In fruits, you are allowed to take avocados, tomatoes, strawberries.
Other foods which have high starch should not be taken.
What to avoid
big NO to all processed foods, such as crackers, chips, pasta, bread, pizza, brownies, cakes.
Bananas are healthy but high in carbs, therefore, you should avoid this. Instead of it you can eat berries, but once you accomplish your goal you can take one banana in a day.
Artificial sweeteners which are not plant-based are not allowed, I use Stevie as a sweetener for coffee.
Margarine although they are high in fats, this trans fat is considered dangerous for heart health.
Take a note
There are many side effects of a ketogenic diet if you plan to start consulting with your doctor. Its major side effects can be reduced by maintaining proper water, minerals and supplements intake.
