When I started working on this piece, I had something quite aggressive in mind, but as I was finishing it, the power went out and I hadn't saved my latest progress, so I simply started again when it came back on, but this time I didn't spend as much time on the face and discarded the idea of making it wilder.

I worked on this piece directly in digital format, colouring the sketch with the tones I wanted and then blurring them. I think this mixed process saves me a lot of time and gives me a little more freedom.
