One of my financial goals for the year 2025 is to be financially accountable with all the resources that passes through my hand and I started by stream lining the resources I was always spending for my kids school runs. I discovered we were spending unnecessarily , resources that would had serve us for a month was been spent in two weeks leaving us to be financially stressing, I had to call my husband 's attention to the fact that we were spending too much on only transportation for school runs when there are other things to look into and one thing I love my marriage and my spouse is the synergy we both have, we do reason critically most times together and arrive at a unified decision at the end . We both agreed to run a test on our new arrived decision and we discovered we were serving 2000 naira Nigerian money (1.243HBD) from the previously amount of 3500 naira Nigerian money(2.175) we were spending daily , aside from the extra funds spent on daily transportation before now I used to consume soda drink almost on daily basis and that act was detrimental for a healthy living. I sat down one day to calculate the money spent on consuming soda weekly and I discovered I had no financial backup in case of eventually and had no savings but was rather saving in consuming soda and so I made up my mind as part of my goals to let go such act and imbibe the culture of savings. This is exactly was I did to myself anytime I felt like drinking soda I will put aside the money I would had used to purchase it aside and at the end of one week I discovered I was always spending about 10000 naira Nigerian money which is equivalent to 6.215 HBD , when I check at where I was saving each time I felt like consuming soda I discovered I have saved some money . I also discovered in previous times that I would just go to the market and purchased some items that I never used them and that attitude too also contributes to drain one's financial life. I am running a check on myself to shade off those things that will make me waste resources and I hope you do same by letting go what will not make you save ,I promise to also contribute my quota towards the development of this great community.Thank you so very much for the time to go through my blog, see you again in my next blog,
