Core values build a person. Our experiences of life depend on our values. It leads us to see the world from a different perspective. These values decide whether we will be an optimistic person, a happy being, or a frustrated human. These are the major reasons to identify our core values!

Personal core values are something like a mirror to see how we respond to certain actions. We choose to fight a bully or let it go depending on our core values. And when we learn and manage to identify what we really are, what build ourselves; we get the idea of how to improve us more. As simple as that!

Let's see how we can identify them easily!

  • Start with a fresh mind. Don't rush to identify what you believe or not at once. You may find it difficult. Allow yourself to think about what you really believe in life.

  • Reveal your personal values. Identify how you act and feel about anything. Like any incident or how you think and accept something.

  • Evaluate your experience. It helps to know ourselves better. See how you felt when someone says something serious to you, or think about some important incident.

  • Relate your values to core values. Like if you feel sad and take action to help a stranger/homeless, then your core value might be 'helping'.

  • Find out what values are essential. Like without them you will not be what you are now.

  • And, finally choose what you need to change and add.

Core values make us what we are now. Changing and adding core values can make us a different person. So, when we talk about self-improvement understanding this and act on this is very necessary!
