How to know if you are an optimist or pessimist?

I think nobody wants to be a pessimist. But sometimes we learn pessimistic behavior unknowingly, we don't have any idea we are pessimists, we don't know what could be the consequences.
We made up the idea that we as a human are a built-in optimist. Yeah, it can be true but not always. We learn so many things from our surroundings that it doesn't matter what we carry from our birth. I'm talking about this because I have seen many who think they are optimistic but act, talk, and behave like a pesimist. This unrealistic thought about ourselves doesn't help us to make the right choices.
The best way to figure out if you are an optimistic or pessimist is to ask yourselves different questions. Let me give some example questions!
Ask yourself how you feel about your future; it will be positive or negative.
How you find yourself to fight to do the best?
How you deal with negative things or what doesn't come out good?
How you expect future events?
These are some basic questions we can ask ourselves to find out more about our real selves. But there are a few other ways we can find out more about our optimistic or pessimistic behavior.
Noticing how you deal with bad situations.
How you explain events?
How you prepare yourself to face challenges?
If you notice your behavior closely in terms of these things, I expect it's possible to know our real selves.
Now you know, what you are and you can decide what you need to do to change your behavior. Pessimism is not a permanent behavior, we definitely can change it. We just need to know, accept, and work on it.
