Juggernaut mounted Bloodletters! They are fast and fairly dangerous.

Hello everyone! Zak Ludick here from Cape Town, South Africa and this is a Warhammer 40k - Datasheet Review post!
What is it all about? It is not there to just give a stat. It is there to give MY review of the unit in the game of Warhammer 40,000
The last of the Indexes! A new challenge!
Right, I am finally ahead and by my best estimations as I explained in this Post, I should be able to keep ahead of the release curve and get the remainder of the Indexes reviewed before those Codex releases.
So I embark on a new challenge. I have calculated that there are roughly 148 reviews to do. I have chosen my frequency and have given myself 96 days to review them all. That means that I am aiming at Day 96 being the 21st of July 2025!
Today is Day 13/96.
I have reviewed 18/148.
Time elapsed: 13.54%
Review Completion: 12.16%
I skipped a day and now I am more than 1% behind!
I shall regain my placing!
Hobby Fund - Working myself into the clear
With my hobby posts, I generate a hobby fund. 50% of the income goes into the fund. At the moment I put all my HBD earned from Warhammer posts into my alt account @zakl.hobbyfund.
I am collecting funds in the following ways:
- Blogging about Warhammer to earn HBD
- Accepting donations - Can be sent directly to @zakl.hobbyfund in HBD
- Selling some of the collection to friends.
At the current count I am paying off some hobby debts. I still have $226 to pay off!
Every bit counts!
Back to the review!
Chaos Daemons, Bloodcrushers
10th Edition Index
Bloodcrushers are a unit of Bloodletter Daemons riding on Juggernauts. Thus, they are cavalry. Juggernauts are a fusion between machine and Daemon and are dedicated to the Blood God Khorne.
Thus, this unit is therefore a melee focused unit that is fast and fairly tough. We expect them to cost a bit of points and...
We are looking at 110pts for 3 of them and 220pts for 6 of them. Not too bad.
Let's check his stats and abilities!
Stats
Movement 10"
Toughness 7
Save 3+/5++ (armor/invul/Feel No Pain)
Wounds 4
Ld 7+

Weapons
Standard weapons: Hellblade, Juggernaut's bladed horn.
1 Bloodcrusher can be equipped with an Instrument of Chaos
1 Bloodcrusher can be equipped with a Daemonic Icon
Models can only carry one of the two, but the squad can include both.
Ranged Weapons
None
Melee Weapons
Hellblade
2 Attacks, Hitting on 3+, S5, AP-2 and 2 Damage each.
Juggernaut's bladed horn
4 Attacks, Hitting on 4+, S6, AP-1 and 1 Damage each.
Extra Attacks (These attacks can be made alongside this model's other attacks)
Lance (On the turn you Charge, this unit gets +1 to Wound rolls)
Abilities
Deep Strike - If this unit arrives on the Battlefield from Reserves, it can be set up anywhere on the battlefield more than 9" from enemy models.
Brass Stampede
Each time this unit ends a Charge, select one unit they made contact with, roll a D6 for every model in this unit. On each 4+, that enemy unit suffers D3 Mortal Wounds.
Wargear Abilities
Daemonic Icon
This model's unit has a Leadership value of 6+
Instrument of Chaos
Add 1 to Charge rolls made for the bearer's unit.
Thoughts
This unit has less attacks than I expected. They are tough and fast as I expected. The Mortal Wounds on the charge will give them the sort of damage together with their attacks that I was expecting.
So, unless there are Detachment bonuses, Stratagems or Characters that can buff them significantly, I would say that they would endanger most regular infantry up till standard Space Marine units. However, the moment they encounter combat troops/unit with more than 2 Wounds each and/or 4+ Invuls, then they will not manage to do much...
Though, if I had the chance to orchestrate it, I will charge them rather than be charged or use a unit to screen them. There are also other ways to deal with cavalry...
That makes 6 Chaos Daemon Datasheets Reviewed putting them on 12% Completed! The total of the remaining Index reviews is now 127.
Thank you for reading!
