Painting funny looking dog | Illustration

I painted a derpy looking dog.
This is the first time I've ever draw such a long tongue hahaha. I need to make sure to blur the tongue a little bit so it's not too disgusting looking.
This is also a way for me to explore other things to draw then just human.
Draft according to the reference.
Base colour and basic shadows.
Adding more and more highlights and darker shadows.
I added some complementary colour, not entirely sure am I doing it correctly.
Rendered, and done!
