A day to have

I dealt with a variety of emotions today. Ranging from loss to slight despair to a state of normalcy and understanding. What started as a day filled with hope ended as a somewhat sad day.
This morning met me at the gym by 7:30 am where I stayed until 9:30 am. I usually love playing badminton first before getting into my workout but today I couldn't because I came in a little late and the guys had already formed teams. When this happens they play quite fast and rough and the last time I played with these men I left with a little injury. It wasn't so fun.

Today, I came in and did a thousand jump ropes, 600 duffel bag punches, 30 squats with 40kg weights, 10 deadlifts with 55kg weights, and 30 with 35kg weights. Then I moved on to do 20 hip thrusts with 35kg weights, and I ended with some stretches and bends to get some release on my back and thighs.
I've never been the person who comes to the gym in the mornings because it wrecks my day and gets me tired but lately, I've been loving it. I no longer feel exhausted when I sit down to work and when I do, I take a short nap and feel amazing. I also noticed that I feel a bit more energized throughout the day.
After the gym, I got home and immediately got ready to pick up a parcel my mom sent for me. Right after that, I got an email that wrecked me from the company I've been working with. That singular email turned a simple day upside down for me and well, I just stayed quiet and laid in bed afterwards.
At some point in the afternoon, I got a call from a friend who reminded me about a deal I was supposed to get into with him, and after connecting him with my brother, we came to an agreement that I'd receive 20% for doing absolutely nothing but being a nice girl who knows good people.
Towards the evening, I went to a soccer arena to watch my husband play a few football matches. I sat there with some wine in my flask, basking in the simple things of life, while my husband's team got beaten twice by their opponents.

I got a little tipsy so my husband drove us home and then I made dinner for us. I think dinner was the highlight of my day because the parcel I picked up from my mom contained a really nice soup and a lot of goat meat. I usually don't care for soups so I don't cook them but there are moments where I have cravings and my mom always comes through.

Tomorrow I'll be getting in a work meeting once again and hopefully, there can be a ray of sunshine once again. I've been on a work break for almost a week now and I truly hate being this unproductive.
I'm looking forward to getting more passive income this year so I'll be working on connecting people that'll be cool with cutting me into deals just for connecting them with other people.
While today wasn't so great, I know tomorrow or maybe the day after will be a whole lot better and I'm worried but still excited about the prospects.
