I have fulfilled one of my most desired dreams and, at last, I was able to visit a market that was only about two of the things I enjoy most in my life: handbags and shoes. If you want to live the adventure that I lived, I invite you to join me.

A little over six months ago I arrived in the city of Leon, which belongs to the Mexican state of Guanajuato. It is true that I am not Mexican by birth, but the inhabitants of this town have welcomed me as a daughter.

Since my arrival and after settling in a house, my husband and I started to look for markets where we could buy food and everything we needed to satisfy our basic needs.

One of the things that caught my attention was a shopping complex that fascinated me because I had never seen anything like it. But, what stole my attention and made me want to come back was a store called Perry Ellis, where they sell shoes, handbags and hats in different shapes and colors.

You will say that this is normal, but what caught my attention is that all the items sold there are made of leather, which guarantees durability and quality of the product.

On that occasion my husband and I could not buy anything because we had to adapt to our new home, to know the prices of rent, food, daily cleaning products and other basic necessities. But one thing was clear to us: we would come back to buy some products because my husband is a shoe fanatic and I am a fan of handbags and footwear.

This Saturday we were able to satisfy that desire and fulfill a dream of being in a department store that was only dedicated to selling shoes and handbags. But this one also sells hats.

We arrived around 10 in the morning and asked to go in to talk to the floor manager and ask her to let us take a tour of the store to see as many products as possible and decide which one we would buy, and also to allow us to take some pictures and we explained why we wanted them. In both cases we were pleased and, in the pictures, I show you everything we experienced inside the store.

Both my husband and I were very pleased and we decided that, when we can, we will return to purchase new products.

He cumplido uno de mis sueños más deseados y, al fin, pude visitar un mercado que fuera solo de dos de las cosas que más disfruto en mi vida: Las carteras y los zapatos. Si quieren vivir la aventura que yo viví, los invito a que me acompañen.

Hace algo más de seis meses llegué a la ciudad de León, perteneciente al estado mexicano de Guanajuato. Es cierto que no soy mexicana por nacimiento, pero, los habitantes de este pueblo me han acogido como una hija.

Desde mi llegada y, después de instalarnos en una vivienda, mi esposo y yo empezamos a buscar los mercados en los que pudiéramos comprar comida y todo lo necesario para poder satisfacer nuestras necesidades básicas.

Una de las cosas que me llamó la atención fue un complejo comercial que me dejó fascinada porque nunca había visto algo semejante. Pero, lo que robó mi atención y me dejó con muchas ganas de volver fue una tienda llamada Perry Ellis, en la que venden calzados, carteras y sombreros de distintas formas y colores.

Usted dirá que eso es normal, pero, lo que llamó mi atención es que todos los artículos que allí comercializan son de cuero, lo que garantiza durabilidad y calidad del producto.

En aquella ocasión mi esposo y yo no pudimos comprarnos nada porque debíamos adaptarnos a nuestra nueva casa, conocer los precios del alquiler, la alimentación, los productos para el aseo diario y los demás artículos de primera necesidad. Pero, algo nos quedó bien claro: volveríamos para comprarnos algunos productos porque mi esposo es fanático a los zapatos y yo a las carteras y los calzados.

Este sábado logramos satisfacer ese deseo y cumplimos un sueño de estar en una tienda por departamentos que solo se dedicara a la venta de calzados y carteras. Aunque en esta, además, también venden sombreros.

Llegamos sobre las 10 de la mañana y pedimos entrar para hablar con la encargada de la planta y pedirle que nos dejara hacer un tour por toda la tienda para ver la mayor cantidad de productos de la tienda y decidir cuál nos compraríamos, además, que nos permitiera tomar unas fotos y le explicamos para qué las queríamos. En ambos casos nos complació y, en las imágenes, les muestro todo lo que vivimos dentro de la tienda.

Tanto mi esposo como yo quedamos muy complacidos y decidimos que, cuando podamos, volveremos para adquirir nuevos productos.
